"Hi, I have been ordering blank DVDs from this store for years, always 1200 at a time. The DVDs always worked 100% of the time. Name brand DVDs never came close to 100%. I once ordered the wrong DVDs (My printer would not print on the DVDs) and they contacted me about this as I always purchased another type. What other company would do this? I live a few hours north of Brooklyn and my orders are ALWAYS at my front door the next day. When I am in Good Ole Brooklyn and I stop into the store I always get a discount if I pay cash. Did I mention that shipping is free when it is delivered by UPS. Combine this with the best price around for these DVDs and I have to say I like CheckOutStore."
"I have ordered several things from checkoutstore in the past and have had no problems. My last order was for a package of 50 blank DVDs by Ritek. I have yet to find one that works. According to their return policy defective product issues should be handled with the manufacturer. Guess where this manufacturer is located....Turkey and Taiwan. I tried to call checkoutstore to see it there was some other way to handle this problem. Calling them will only get you an email address. I tried to send an email but got a failure to deliver reply. So unless you have money to burn I would NOT recommend this company."
"BUYER BEWARE!!! BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CHECKOUTSTORE: I had ordered from Checkoutstore.com a couple times before with no problems. But this last time was different: Ordered 1,000 clear CD cases with trays. When I received my order, I noticed many of them would fall apart in my hand when they were opened. I tested every single jewel case myself and found 260 of them had defective "doors/covers." The flanges (where they hook to the main case) were flawed in that they were molded with a curve on the flanges, causing them to fall apart when they are opened. I am selling my 10,000+ disc CD collection on Amazon, so these cases have to be top quality. Bad jewel cases would cause negative feedback and damage my 100% approval rating.
I contacted Checkoutstore a couple times but no response, then finally heard back from them. Their solution: I had to ship the defective products back to them AT MY EXPENSE and they would replace them but not reimburse shipping. Why should I have to pay shipping to return their defective products? The shipping charges would have been about as much as the product, so I ended up keeping these 260 jewel cases that are totally useless. They wouldn't even send me 260 replacement doors/covers.
I thought they would take care of their customers, but they didn't seem to care. I will need several more thousand CD cases to finish my sales, but my jewel case orders will not be with Checkoutstore.com."

"This is the second time I have been burned by this store and this will be the last time. When I ordered 2000 CD sleeves, they sent sleeves that are 1/8 inch too small, vertically and horizontally. Even my slim fingers will not fit into the sleeve to pull the CD out. 1/8 inch may not seem like much, but it makes these sleeves unusable.
The sleeves I ordered are called "Premium", but they sent their "Budget" sleeves. And I paid a Premium price, too.
When I complained, they told me to return them at my cost. The cost to return was $23. When I complained to them again, they were very rude. I am 71 and I have never in my life been treated so rudely by customer service and there have been some very rude ones, believe me.
You should never buy from this company. They are selling defective merchandise and they won't make it right, even when you've been a customer for several years. Don't be a sucker like me and let them steal your money. "
"I ordered 100 DVD cases and they were so cheaply made and smelled so bad they were unusable, even the cardboard box the DVD cases broke when I went to pick it up because it was so cheaply made. They refused to speak with me in person, they only have a person to answer the phone in sales and she refuses to do anything with customer service, customer service will only email you. I, want to return them but they are such a shady company, they basically do not allow returns without paying shipping, etc plus I had to open the box to see that they were cheap but once you open the box, they say they won't take them back."

I ordered 2 100 packs of tayo yuden dvd -r 8x , both cke boxes were broken in the bubble wrap packed in the box, no label on the cartons as if they are 2nds or black market. 58.00, THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, LOUSY COMPANY, LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I picked up the items since I live 15 minutes away from them. I came home and most of the DVD cases were broken. 110 DVD CASES OUT OF 200 DVD CASES WERE BROKEN.
I emailed them back with pictures and they said that it was'nt their problem. They claim I should have inspected it inside their tight, small warehouse. There isnt room to stand safely in there. They do not have an inspection site or anything like that."
"I work with recording artists and needed to restock my Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs. I found this place selling them for .21 cents each in 100 bulk packs. The cheapest I had found before this was .25 cents each. I was nervous as only one person has rated this firm.
I bought 200 CD-Rs for $42.00 The UPS shipping charge was $10 and change. Six pounds from New York to Charlotte, NC would cost around $6 to the firm. I know as I ship UPS often from work.
NOTE: This review is edited for this reason. I mentioned that the cost to the company to ship six ponds would be $6 (or a little more). I think that the $10 and change shipping chrge is fine as you should remember the costs to the vendor of cartons, packing material and labor. Again I had a great experience with this firm.
I ordered Sunday June 7th, the CD-Rs shipped Monday June 8th and the package arrived Wednesday June 10th (today).
There were no surprises. I ordered the items, and everything flowed smoothly."
