"I was looking for answers and this site was advertising that they had them, but the only way to view the answers was to pay a $20 subscription (plus tax). So I pay the subscription and while I can find the questions on the site, I cannot find the answers, which again, are advertised as being there. After realizing this, about 10 minutes after I create my account, I request a refund due to the false advertising. I was informed that I will not be receiving a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED"
"I subscribed but within 15 minutes of using it I realized that the answers were incomplete. I had 10 questions and no solution. I entered the chat and requested a refund, after all I did not use anything because the answers were incomplete. The chat attendant said it was not possible to do the refund. Total disrespect with the consumer. I did not use the product because of poor service. When I initially google it the question appeared but after payment the answers were not correct and incomplete. Seriously that they did not refund a service that was not even done? Policy? What about the law? Disrespectful."
"Stayed on hold an hour to speak with customer service regarding being charged twice for a book rental. I was informed that one of the charges would "drop off" after a few days. Totally unacceptable to take my rental fee twice without telling me, even if it is going to drop off. The customer representative did not care. I won't use this company again. Wish I had seen reviews before I used them to begin with."

Just received an email letting us know that our "rental" was due in seven days and if we want to purchase the book it would cost us another $168. #INSANE. "I got the Chegg subscription to help with a class that I was having some issues keeping up in. At first I thought $21 a month wasn't bad, but then once I realized that there was more wrong answers and info than correct ones, I started second guessing things. I went to cancel this morning and found they had already charged me for another month of subscription today. I talked to customer service and they said that there was no refund possible but that I would have access to the service for another month. I told them that I didn't need or want the service for another month, but their response was there's nothing they can do about refunding the money they just took out of my account this morning. "
"Stay away from Chegg! They will trick you into subscribing, claiming that your questions have been answerered but it's just the questions that are copy pasted in the answer section. Yet, they don't do refunds

"Chegg is TERRIBLE!!! It's 2022 and when you click for an answer you get someone's poorly written, hard to read photo of the homework paper they manually did the problem with. AWFUL!!
Also, they send emails saying "click here to practice your probability skills". Then when I click the link a page comes up saying they have no content for this area.
DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! I cancelled my subscription the day after I purchased it."
"I have used chegg for over 3 years and never had any problem. Now for whatever reason anytime I use my account it gets flagged for suspicious activity by means of a shared account not once but twice in the middle of my exams. I reached out to the customer service help number and they could verify that my account was not shared and I had followed all the chegg guidelines. Despite this, there was "nothing they could do about my account" and that I would just have to wait 2 days. I've never been more disappointed in any other subscription like I have with chegg. I'm abiding by all the guidelines but yet I still am not able to use the account that I paid for. The customer service was horrible too, no one knew what they were talking about. All they do is read you the same list of chegg guidelines they send out when you contact customer service. I will never use chegg again after my last experience, it is not worth the money, time, and frustration. "
"This company is a rip off - I bought a book and later I was charged for a rental. My receipt did not mentioned rental. It said book was paid in full. The price was comparable with many other websites, I only bought with them because they had the fastest delivery. Once my class was done, I donated the book. The only way not to be charged again and again was to pay full price again! DO NOT BUY BOOKS FROM THEM!!!!"
"A full-fledged scam.
I sign up and they charge me right away, of course.
From there and to be able to access they send a confirmation email so that when you receive it you click on a link to access. So far so good.
The problem is when the link is only valid for 5 minutes, and it always takes at least 10 minutes to arrive, so several days later and after trying to access more than 30 times, always arriving the access link late, I still have not been able to enter and I am more than fed up.
In addition, they include a link to contact customer service, which does not work either, it sends to a page that does not exist and gives an error.
If I want to unsubscribe, I can't either because I can't log into my account and I can't manage my subscription, so they would be forever charging me.
The only solution to stop this is to cancel the card so that they can no longer rip me off for a product that I have not been able to use even once.
A scam and a disgrace this way of acting.

"If I could give 0 stars I would! They might have been the place back in the day when online books began, but they have fallen behind the times! TERRIBLE company and TERRIBLE service. Ordered a book on August 20th, still don’t have it as of today (Sept 28th) was told they can’t cancel the order because its pending shipment but couldnt provide tracking number. BEWARE! Ordered what I needed on Amazon and will be here in two days! NEVER WILL I EVER USE CHEGG again."
"Bought a textbook for class and it shipped with an energy drink that was opened inside. The book was destroyed. Not sure what the point of putting a drink with a book is. My professor was upset because I did not have my textbook in time. I called and I was told they would send me a new one but it’s taken over a week to come and I’m now inconvenienced and they won’t even reimburse me or anything. Very disappointed and it was my first time using chegg. I do not recommend! "
"I’m paying for 2 accounts and I cant access material on either account from any of my devices. There’s constantly a manage your device pop up and I cant Access my work even from a registered device"
