"I ordered navy blue slim shorts & they arrived in a timely fashion. I like something a bit wider but this style seems to be all they have at this time. It fits well & doesn’t wrinkle much so I’m settling for narrow. I’ve shopped at Chico’s for years & like what I buy. I don’t like the pull on style but so many people do. Wish they would make a size 1.5 in tops like they do in pants & I would like more choices in “short” (pants) as opposed to petite which I can’t wear."

"In my hometown, the women are snobbish, they really only try to help their aging customers. I have noticed it time and time again, I come into the store, in my 60s but look like 50s, and I am not even spoken to. Why?? Because they are too busy with their old clients. I live in Lexington, KY and we have 3 stores! The only one where customers like me are appreciate is the Hamburg store, a 30 minute drive from my house. The closest one to me is the worst. Sorry folks, but its the truth."

"I ordered a Chico's cardigan for my mother as a Mother's Day gift. It was a new item that she really wanted which was expensive. I ordered it online on May 6th. When I ordered it, its status read that it was In Stock. It was due to arrive the week of Mother's Day (so the Chico's confirmation stated). It never arrived. Then Chico's e-mail read that it was due to arrive by May 20th. It never arrived so I called the Chico's toll free telephone number to inquire about it. It was not only very disappointing that it never arrived but it was equally as bad that I never received any notification from Chico's of its status. Thus, when I made the telephone inquiry, I spoke to a nasty manager who stated that the item was of Back Order status and that it would not arrive until June 4th. I was very upset because this was very bad business practice of Chico's. As mentioned above, when I ordered the item online, its status was that it was In Stock not a Back Order item. I have been a long-time customer of Chico's as has my mother since its inception when it was just a tiny store in Florida on Sanibel Island. Never had I ever had this terrible an experience with Chico's being deceptive as well as unprofessional. Both my mother and I have a good customer relationship with the Chico's team at the Clifton, N.J. store which we've come to respect and rely on because they are trustworthy, pleasant professionals who do a great job at working at this store, sincerely helping their loyal customers and getting to know them. Their store manager, Kate, does an excellent job at operating this store which has a high-volume of customers all of whom she has made the time and effort to get to know and takes time to assist. Unfortunately, I cannot give a good review for Chico's online operations which have now proven unreliable to do business with based on this said Mother's Day gift experience. "
