I bought a canon powershot sd800is camera. Decided on ChiefValue because of the price, and the extra goodies they threw in (2gb sd card). Great experience with them, and have recommended several friends to use their service. I am unsure of other products, but I found their digital camera section very competitive in terms of pricing. Shipping was free and fast as well.

"Unfortunately I didn't read the previous posts in time. Sure enough, I ordered a CPU Cooler b/c Newegg was out, and they listed it as being in stock. When I submitted the order, it came back order rejected. On a whim, I checked my account, and SURE ENOUGH the billed me for it! Whose system would reject an order but still bill you? This seems to be an on-going issue with this company. You'd think they'd fix their system to avoid doing this to people. But appearently they don't care enough about customers to not put them through this. As far as I'm concerned, it's a crime they would even associate themselves with Newegg. When I called to check on why I was billed, and some gentleman answered, I got "no welcome to chiefvalue" or other courtesy intro, just a "what can I do for you?" The guy acted like I was interrupting him which I customer should be made to feel. This whole transaction was 2nd rate, which IMO is a reflection of the company. I will never ever again go to ChiefValue's website, or stray from Newegg for that matter. This has been a learning experience and makes me appreciate the cust service from the Egg even more. I would really like to know how ChiefValue is a Newegg company, b/c they should be doing something about it! "

"Like a few others... I found my item was out of stock at newegg so I did a seach and came across chiefvalue that looked like new egg with simular prices but my item was listed as in stock. It cost a few more bucks in shipping over newegg but it was worth it to get my item. Well the next day my order is still listed as downloaded to warehouse. I use there online chat and while waiting for a reply why my order hasn't shipped I come here and read others with same experiance. Looks to me that if newegg is out so is chiefvalue no matter what it says about being in stock. They are one in the same as newegg but there website product tracking is not working correctly. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF THE ITEM IS LISTED AS OUT OF STOCK ON NEWEGG!! You will be just wasting your time and will have to wait days for a refund of your canceled order. Not a good company in my book. They could of emailed or at least state on there website they are having problems. JUST USE NEWEGG!!!!"
