"Good other then the food, and the fact that the children have to take naps with these bright fluorescent lights on right above them as they are laying on their cots looking up directly at them potentially causing issues with their eyes. A couple other facilities I’m familiar with turn lights off and close blinds for nap time"
"Was really good at first. You need to separate the children by ages/ability example A threes class. There is too much out of control in preschool class."
"Generally, some of the teachers are great and seem to genuinely love children. Others, not so much. Some are just there for a paycheck in my opinion you can go anywhere but don’t work with children if you’re easily annoyed. I believe they are lacking in cleanliness, organization and professionalism. There should never be someone left with young children that a parent has never met. I think this school needs a complete restart, and lots more training."
"Honestly, this is by far the worse daycare job experience I've ever had. I was there for almost two years and the only thing that kept me going was seeing my babies faces everyday. There were a handful of staff that absolutely loved their job and the children.
Management needs a complete make over. There are mostly children with leadership positions at this location. That's scary in itself. I recently left, after being sent on admin leave for leaving an aide in the
classroom with two infants, to use the ladies room. This is something that they have done and probably still do to this day, especially when it's convenient for them. But because it was me, I was out of compliance. I was also told I was being sent
home because I supposedly said I was calling licensing. Just to let you all know the management there runs around with their heads chopped off like chickens if they suspect that the licensing lady will show up. If you're such a perfect center and you do everything by the books, why should her coming be a problem?? Because they are not, rules and regulations are only being followed when they know she's coming. On the day they sent me home, the assistant director called me to tell me that the district manager was placing me on admin leave. Do y'all think they told me why?? If you guessed no, you're correct. I had to find out through big mouth employees why I was sent on leave. According to them, I was sent on admin because I told the director to her face to kiss my ****, which wasn't the case but whatever floats their boats. Just in case the parents didn't know, they tell each other to kiss their ****, calls each other B****es all of the time, in front of your children. I reached out via email to the
district manager and got no response. Before the end of the day, I emailed my two week notice. They did not tell me why I was being sent on admin, how long I was being placed on admin, or if I'm being paid. I
don't know about you all but that sounds like I lost my job right then and there. All this to say parents please be mindful of who you are leaving your children with. If the center your child attends can not be
open and honest with you all, they don't deserve to have a hand in caring for your precious gems. For the people that are looking for childcare jobs, find a place that knows your worth and helps to build you and not tear you down. There was one employee there that was told she was the worst, slowest person they have ever had work in the kitchen. I'm sorry but that's just ignorance and that's only one example. Remember parents and employees that we are the children's advocates. If you as an employee don't feel comfortable speaking up on the children's behalf because you are afraid of being fired then you need to speak up because that person sitting in that higher seat needs to be removed! I'm sorry for the long story. I just wanted to share experiences that were had at this Churchville location. "
"My general experience with this school is positive. I needed a daycare/school environment for two of my kids that was able to maintain its hours of operation (not close on a whim), whose hours of operation matched my work schedule, and who had care givers who truly cared about my kids. Communication with the school is always available, and if a concern is raised it is quickly addressed."
"How welcoming everyone has been to our 2 boys. They normally cry at drop off and pickup and are comforted each time."
"We love sending our infant to Childtime in Churchville. We love all of his teachers and the constant communication. We feel that he is loved and cared for just as much as he would be at home. Our child gets bored at home since he is so stimulated at school. He comes home and falls asleep by 7 after his busy day. Also, this survey is very long so that fact that I am still filling it out shows how much we love Childtime’s infant teachers :)"
"I have had nothing but a great experience. The staff is amazing, the facility is very clean and the security procedures are amazing."
"We had problems in the other childtime that we don't at this one, the teacher seems more active with the school aged kids instead of just letting them run the classroom"
"The teachers have been wonderful. My son loves spending his day at school. He's usually all smiles when I put him in the teacher's arms at drop off."
"Ms. Tikeya Wheeler is an amazing teacher! She’s awesome with my daughter and she treats her as if she is of her own. This make me feel as if my child is safe in this environment. The teacher and staff all are amazing. I am greeted by teachers in the morning and also when I pick up in the evening. My daughter loves this place. The curriculum is also amazing! My daughter has learned so much since she started at childcare. Thank you all so much!"
