"Perfect in every way... speedy delivery, product is exatcly what I was looking for. Seems to be great quality, very bright ...not like some of the ones in the big box stores. I emailed them a question after I ordered, and got an email response the next day.. and Mitch (mgr) gave me some helpful info in that email. "I ordered 12 strings of icicle Christmas lights on May 31, and received them on June 6. They were well-packed, and each box of lights was exactly as described on the website. I tested each string of lights and EVERY SINGLE BULB was lit! Each package came with spare bulbs, which I saved for later. The website says to haggle if the price seems too high. I thought the price was good, but decided to haggle anyway...and I got a 10% off coupon!"

"Christmas Depot ignored my order until I emailed to indicate that is was late. They then sent the wrong merchandise. They did process the return successfully, but never bothered to attempt sending me the correct order. I eventually cancelled through my credit card company."

"Do Not Purchase from this Company! Christmasdepot.com
I made a purchase for over a thousand dollars worth of christmas lights on Nov. 30. I followed their online instructions (although I never received a RA despite three emails and a 15 day return policy) and returned unopened, unused items of $400. Although I call the company every two weeks and am assured they received my return and will credit my account "as soon as the manager from the corporate office returns" I have never received my refund. I am posting this as of 5/2/10 and will remove it as soon as I receive my promised refund.

"Order was confirmed; tracking number assigned. After two weeks I inquired and was told items no longer in stock. A second order placed one day after first was confirmed and this time two messages were sent to me indicating 3 of 4 items had been shipped. Only two items arrived; I was charged shipping quoted for the four items and am once again getting the "sorry, out of stock" responce. I wish I had read reviews on this site before trying to do business with these people. I had problems with them last year also. There will not be a third time. "

"This is the worst company to do business. They do false advertising. They stated that the product is in stock available for immediate delivery but it really is not. It takes at least 6 to 8 weeks to get the product. When I found this out I cancelled the order. Now, its hard to get my credit back. They never call back. You cna only deal with them through email. The people who answer the phones are just odfers takers hired by Christmas Depot. I suggest that you think hard before you want to purchase an item through this company."

"I ordered a nutcracker from Christmas Depot (CD). It arrived Dec. 17th. The nose was broken off
and broken. I could not glue it. I returned to their web page and informed them it came broken
and followed the instructions to get an RA #. After going around and around with them on who
pays for the shipping, I shipped it out on the 20th of December. They received it Jan. 2nd and
they refused it. I got it back Jan.6th and started calling. First I was told that they no longer had it in stock so they could not replace it. Then I was told I did not return it before Dec. 24th so they refused it. I told them it did not mention this Dec. 24th return date in any of my emails or the RA# form. They told me where to look. First, one of several links in the email that told me how to get my RA# led to a CD page that showed a list of the email correspondences. I needed to call up the log for these emails (all of which I had already read and did not need to read again on their page) and at the bottom of this page it states you can not return anything after Dec. 24th. I asked why they would not take it back and file a claim with UPS. They told me it would be easier if I filed a claim with UPS and tell them it was broken after I shipped it back to them (illegal). When I ask if they would have wanted me to ship it back on Dec. 20th with a guarantee to be there by Dec. 24th which would have cost $50-$60, they tell me I need to speak to their supervisor. All I get is his voice mail and he does not answer my calls. I am at a loss and do not know what to do next. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

"I purchased a fiber optic tree from this company a little early as I did not want to find the product out of stock due to the Christmas rush.
My wife put the package into the guest bedroom closet when it arrived UPS.
I did not look at the package until the day after Thanksgiving. (Today)
When I went to get the package I noticed that it had been opened then resealed. However, it was a christmas tree....right? How much damage could it have?
I decided to plug it in right away and make sure the bulb lit up. (No such luck!)
But the unit came with a spare bulb. So I went to replace the bulb. I noticed when taking out the old bulb that did not work,....it had a 12V 35watt bulb in it. The spare bulb was a 12V 20Watt bulb. Which bulb was correct?
I immediatly called the Christmas Depot. They informed me that I had gone past my 15 day return policy. Now here is a company that charged me $100.00 for a four foot tree. They charged me an additional $18.62 for shipping the very light package. And still sent me a used tree.
Then the quality of the tree is no better than you can buy at your local Walmart.
My advice,.......stay away from this scamming company.
On top of that,.....they will only let you talk to someone in person if you are buying something. If you have a customer relations problem,.......they want you to email them so they can get back to you when they want to.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU AS THEY HAVE DONE WITH ME!
