"Awful service. Do not use Chrome Art and Design NYC. Our business learned the hard way.
Arnold Rosario made many promises and assurances that our product would be delivered by a certain date and also assured me that the quality and finish of the piece we had chromed would be to our expectations. I came in on my day off twice to receive our shipment-- both times he was a no-call/no-show after making many promises that he would show. He wouldn't answer my calls and when I finally spoke to him, he told me he had an ill family member (which I'm positive wasn't true). The first time he finally delivered, the work was shoddy and damaged, and was the wrong color.
He wasted countless hours of my time making promises to deliver work. Incredibly unprofessional. On top of that he could not produce the promised finish for our chrome piece. He told me on numerous occasions that he would extend a discount on our invoice and agreed that we were provided with a professional experience or the correct finished product. Follow-ing up on this he has told me for weeks that he is traveling but would send me the updated invoice with refund "soon" or "invoice will be sent on Monday"... Now he is not returning our calls.
Awful customer service. Awful product and craftsmanship. Arnold Rosario and Chrome Art NYC are not to be trusted with your money or business."
"arnold rosario! fk this man.. took my expensive motorcycle part "hayabusa" to chrome it he promised to be done in 2-3 weeks ..he everytime find a reason related to his family...his mom sick.. his wife..angry..etc.. and 3 months passed i missed the riding season i threat him to go police and sent someone to his shop to pick my items alsmot 3-4 months and all items were not done . simply he is a thiev be away from him"
"I send my motorcycle parts 2 Years ago. He received my parts, but always something to get any work done in them. I have been to the shop and seen the parts, some minor work done, but at the end nothing. Arnold never picks up the phone and to get in touch is a pain. When we talk something always happened and usually involves a Hospital and a family member.
I understand some things happen all the time, but in a 2 year period?
I keep hoping to get my stuff painted at some point as I have wasted so much time and money on this.
I strongly suggest to stay away from Arnold Rosario and ChromeArtNYC. I really do not understand how this guy still around. Hopefully I get back my stuff and get somewhere else, If I can reach him."
"Buyer Beware ChromeArtNYC.com
We are a custom design and manufacture firm of high end Dump Truck, Big Rig, ATV and are now branching to include Motorcycle parts. In June of this year ( 2012 ) we were in contact with a local chroming facility we use who told us they offered some but did not offer all of the type chrome we needed for our latest projects. They did know of someone advertising thru facebook under the name Chrome ART NYC who supposedly did the spray on type of chrome we needed for some of our project pieces. After contacting the owner, a man named Arnold Rosario at Chrome Art NYC he relayed back thru the local chrome facility that they could in fact do our prototype parts. We had the local chrome facility ship the parts to Chrome Art and they were delivered and signed for June 19th. It is now October and we have no parts back and only excuses.
The local chroming facility has tried extensively to assist and has apologized repeatedly for passing forward the name ChromeArtNYC . We thank them whole heartedly for all of the time spent in the matter via communication with this Arnold Rosario guy but they tell us over and over even with many efforts they cannot seem to get any results from Mr. Rosario. The local chrome facility let us read the communications with Mr. Rosario. They have shown us proof that the parts were shipped, delivered and signed for. All Mr. Rosario has really done to date is a song and dance. He stated once that his brother was in charge. Then he stated he would have his father handle it. Mr. Rosario acknowledged with the local chrome facility that he knew the party who signed for our prototype parts. He says he needs time to hunt for it. He says he will resolve it. He stated he would write a check himself to replace the parts. He has not done that either. Then we get the last communication we have been forwarded that states that Arnold Rosario denies receiving our prototype parts even though they were signed for. He has suddenly changed his tune and states he will not make good on our parts.
At this point Mr. Rosario has shown that his practices are bogus at best and leaves us no choice but to share our experience. It would appear he can’t make up his mind who runs the business, which is the correct working phone number for the business, or if he will, then won’t reimburse for our parts delivered to his business. Through our IT office research we have been unable to find any such business as of yet listed within the state of New York other than what has been manifested by Mr. Rosario himself online to make himself appear to be something he in reality doesn’t appear at all to be when you take a closer look. Our experience shows us he is surely not CEO material as he claims on his website. The actions and or lack thereof we’ve seen equates more to the oil lube manager at Wal-mart.
If you look about you find the name Arnold Rosario associated with several businesses, addresses and websites no longer in business. You be the judge. All we can say in the end is we entrusted a man named Arnold Rosario at ChromeArtNYC.com with our prototype parts and apparently they are long gone.
On a plus note though we have found that if you contact Spectra Chrome aka: www.Sprayonchrome.com they can direct you to any of many legitimate businesses who do the same type of work offered by Mr. Rosario. They have been nothing but professional in helping us get back on track after being taken for a ride.
PS: At any such time as Mr. Rosario wishes to do the right thing as he stated in writing to the local chrome facility he would do in taking care of our missing prototypes we’d be happy to return and acknowledge that resolution here."
