"Chrysler Capital, took my insurance check for repairs on my vehicle, almost three months later, these crooks have not yet paid my body shop who has a lot of money laid out, and they have me making payments and insurance for a vehicle I can't use, they have tortured my body shop asking for the most ridiculous items down to a letter from the IRS, that my body shop sent it to these morons at least ten times that I saw. email, fax, they said we did not get it, I hope they go out of business, no one should deal with Chrysler. please never buy their products."

Chrysler Capital AND their "partner" Santander Consumer USA - some sort of foreign credit card company.... all located in Manila and can't speak in a way to be understood. Not a good representative of Chrysler Capital ! But then you have to ask, "Why when Chrysler Capital owes a customer money rather than sending a check to the customer, they send a dubious "cash card" from Santander which has all sorts of issues and time wasting steps that don't work as described. Very disappointed with FCA and Chrysler Capital in addition to the two lemon vehicles we purchased... 2020 Dodge Ram and a 2018 Pacifica - both JUNK. Never Chrysler products again.... after being a loyal Chrysler / Ram / Jeep buyer since 1972

"I was never late of missed a payment for 7 Chrysler cars in a row. Traded in a Jeep for a newer Jeep. Almost 3 months later, Chrysler Capital, who has been paid in full by the Chrysler dealer who took my car, is sending out reports to Experian and god knows where else that my account is overdue and that I owe a balance of $7000 dollars on the account. After speaking with every level of customer care, who admit every time that the account was paid, they claim that because they were paid 27 cents too much, they can't close the account yet. When will it be closed? Can you please stop sending out delinquent payment alerts to the credit companies? That seems to be a problem. They can not correct problems in their own system, no matter how damaging they are to the customers. Their new strategy is to not take my calls. "
"Talking to Chrysler Capital on the phone is like talking to a wall. The entire system there is automated. My car was returned as part of a trade in. A dealer paid off the balance in full. Accounting saw the payments but had no ability to enter it into the system, and list the account as paid off. My credit reports started to list the account as a late payment. Kept calling in. Spoke to everyone. They "escalated" my account a few times. Just a game to get customer off the phone. The phone agents are to there to make pretend with you. "

Chrysler Capital is a bank that stays strict with their policy. Customer care is non existent when it comes to their policies. If their policies states you are over the past due date even when you worked out payment plans with them about how to pay them. Your account will still be filed according to their policies for repossession. So what I am saying do not waste your time explaining your current situation with this bank they do not care for customer service and care. You can have a near life and death situation, fighting court cases, behind on corporations not paying you back on time, at the verge of going homeless because of all the above to them to put it plainly you can have the best reasons why you cannot pay particular that month but the next and still be reposed. Like it is not bad enough already. This bank really showed their **** on asking me why I cannot make the payments all with good reasons with plan in mind on how they are going to get paid like how I told them they were going to get paid, if you don't got the money now I was sure to let them know when the money was going to be in their account. Do not tell this people any of your business they do not need to know and it will not make a difference you are a number to them and that is it. At the end of it all they are going to get paid everything like how i told them i was going to pay them, but they went and decided to mess up my paperwork anyway. you cannot reason with this bank, they are going to get paid with your best interest not in mind, with you needing your vehicle to pay these banks back even if it meant your death to do so is what this bank treats you like.

"Watch out for fees!!! They are still charging me a disposition fee ($394) for returning a leased vehicle (returned low miles and pristine condition) through them even though I financed a new vehicle for purchase with Chrysler Capital with the turn in. Was told there were no additional fees until I received bill in the mail (surprise!). Company would rather charge me ridiculous fee than keep my service. Spoke to rep (and he spoke to his supervisor) who said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything. I will NEVER buy or lease with this company again. I suggest you consider the same. They want your money, not your loyalty or respect. I've already refinanced and taken my loan out of Chrysler Capital (supporting my local credit union instead who do value my business!). Consider yourself warned."
"All the negative reviews about how awful Chrysler Capital's customer service is are true. Chrysler Capital's agents are rude, impolite, unfriendly and do NOT care about their customer. They charged me over ONE THOUSAND dollars after my lease ended, for damages that were NOT caused by me and they are reluctant to withdraw those charges even though I have sent them proof that I did not turn in the car in that state. I sent them pictures of how I turned in the car, I sent them a document from the dealership showing I turned in the car on the first day of the month and Chrysler Capital received it on the 15th of the month. I spoke to their Executive Office team, to Kristen, and that too was in vain and a waste of my time. She was reluctant to listen to me, and all she kept doing was cutting me off and being condescending when telling me that she was not going to wave the charge and that I could file a complaint with Better Business Bureau if I wanted to, that they did not care. WHO runs this company?! It is being handled as a dictatorship, where the only rules that govern are their own, and they don't care about anything. HOW are people allowed to treat customers like that! Whatever you do, do NOT finance your vehicle with Chrysler Capital, you will regret it. "
"My daughter went in the dealership with a small child to lease a vehicle from **** Huvarey in Richmond.
Michigan. She signed all the paperwork and wasn't verbally told of the crazy disposition fee she would have to pay when turning in this vehicle. Now they want $395 from her. The vehicle happened to be in my husband's name and he wasn't verbally told either. They just give you a bunch a papers to sign and don't bother to tell you about the fee! This company doesn't even deserve a one star. I purchased a vehicle around the same time through Chrysler capital and never got that disposition fee when turning it in. Ally doesn't charge that fee. I'm going with Ally from now on.

"Chrysler Capital is horrible all around! 1. They dont refinance. 2. If you have late fees or a returned fee, it is not paid off with your normal payment. Apparently, you would have to call them and have funds allocated to your misc. fees. The best part is, they do not tell you that until you ask about it. EVERYTHING with Chrysler Captial is a dont tell until you ask situation. Also, the invoices are very vague. It does not give you a line by line breakdown, which is important because I really feel like they are cheating me out of my money when I make payments. Hate is a strong word, but I absolutely HATE Chrysler Capital.
If you do end up with Chrysler Capital, document everything!!! Pay attention to your balance, you payement amounts, chat history, phone history, EVERYTHING!

I bought a 2015 Fiat 500 from Fiat of Ontario. Chrysler Capital financed the car at 19% interest and charged me a $900 "Bank fee." There were problems with the Fiat that could not be fixed so the dealership who also sells Jeeps told me to bring the car back and they would give me back everything I paid for it and put me in another car. This time Chrysler Capital charged me a $1,200 "Bank fee" and 21.5% interest. When I questioned the interest rate increase CC told me that it is the dealership that "chooses" the rate, when I questioned the dealership they showed me the form from CC that clearly showed the 21.5% percent interest rate, so CC lied to me.
When I bought the Jeep, I was asked by the dealership to purchase an extended warranty contract so they could break even on the deal. So I did, after having been told that after 30 days I could cancel it and get the $2,100 back as a refund, back to me. Well, that wasn't true, I am dealing with the dealership on that as we speak, however, I requested that CC credit my account payments with the $2K, they refused. So, after charging me $2,100 in "Bank fees" and a 21.5% interest rate, they refused to do what I asked them to do.
It is clear to me that they have no interest in keeping me even remotely happy, there is no lever of acceptable customer service in any of this, and they are horrible, heartless, greedy people, and are the poster child for what is wrong with "capitalism" in this country.
There was a day...but no more, and I HATE these people.My advice, stay away!
