"Was browsing and searching on the net for a "backlight" for my new plasma. It seems that this particular kind of lighting is known as a "bias light." I saw mention of a light product that might fulfill my needs on the Audio Visual Forums (avsforums.com). It was at Cinemaquest. This small company is held in high regard by the AV geeks that frequent those forums. I considered saving money by putting together a Home Depot type of lighting - though lacking in some ways. But for $45, after spending thousands on my home system, why mickey-mouse the lighting?

The item was shipped like it held nitroglycerin, packing inside of packing, on top of packing. I appreciated that. The light itself made a valuable contribution to the "picture" on my new plasma - further emphasizing the brilliant colors and easing the strain on my weary eyeballs.
