"Do not order the hand sanitizer from here. It smells so bad that my wife felt sick. I tired to reach out to their customer service twice to see if I can return the product for a partial refund. I also asked if they thought my batch was bad or any other customers complained about the smell. No response at all. I paid nearly $176, including shipping, for a gallon of this stuff that I can't use. I feel robbed and I can't do anything about it except to warn others by writing this review. "Better products aren’t difficult to find. Better service is what sells products. So 2-3 days turns into 30 days. With no response by customer service. Worth my time? No. Worth the money? Who knows? "My gallon of hand sanitizer arrived yesterday. I know it was highly overpriced but given the circumstances I was happy that they had it in stock. At least that's what it said when I ordered it on their website. I ordered on April 4th and it arrived April 20th. When i sent emails asking for and approximate shipping date there was no response. I too got the letter about the passing of a loved one. Under the circumstances I can forgive the delayed shipping. What cannot be forgiven is this product flat out stinks. The smell is so bad that my daughter actually asked me could I put it outside. I am likely out the significant amount of money paid for what is an unusable product as I am not even going to pretend to expect a response from their customer service department.
Personally I think it is the type of alcohol they are using and someone likely cut corners on the distilling process. I would not recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY! "
"I'm in the same boat as everyone else that ordered sanitizer from this P.O.S. company. Ordered 2 gallons on 3-31 and have emailed them a half a dozen times with no response just like everyone else. Called credit card company to refund my money. They will take care of it, just a shame there's such scum bag sacks of s*** like this out here when people are trying to keep themselves and family safe. There's a special place in hell for these dirt bags. And I hope they make it there real soon!!!! DON'T BUY FROM CLASSIC SHAVING!!!!!!!

The razor also came back drenched in oil saturating the scales and everything, dripping oil like they dipped my straight razor in a quart of oil. All in all, I had an extremely sloppy experience which is exactly what you don't want for your straight razor. I would give them zero stars if I could. SERVICE YOU CANNOT TRUST is a service you should never use. Don't invest in regret."
"Placed an order with Classic Shaving 1 Sept and paid my $340.94. My order still shows after almost 2 weeks unfulfilled. Sent several emails as to when this order will be sent, to no avail. This company shows poor business ethics and poor customer service. Also requested money to be returned and still no response. There are other companies that would be glad to receive new business apparently Classic is only interested in taking your money and not shipping the order."
"I sent a razor to be sharpened, having checked very carefully with their pre-approved list of razors that won't hold an edge. My razor should have come back shave-ready. Instead it tore up my face multiple times before I took it to a professional barber to get his opinion. Result - the blade was never sharpened. When I contacted classicshaving.com's customer service, I got a cursory response that there was no possibility they could have made a mistake, there was no recourse but to send it back to them for a full charge, and there was no option to call them to discuss the problem - no phone listed, no phone offered when I repeatedly asked.
Bottom line - if you deal with this company then you are doing so at your own risk. There is no accountability for their service or actions, and no concern for you as the customer. Please take your business elsewhere. "
"I used one of their straight razors which my wife got me for Christmas. After two simple uses, I was so torn up by their razor that the bleeding did not stop all day. It was supposed to be honed and sharpened, a service she paid extra for. When I expressed my displeasure over the product and wished to return it, they refused and said even if I challenged the credit card charge, they would fight it because the razor was used.
How is a person supposed to know a product like this is faulty or of poor quality until they use it? This is not a consumable, it is a piece of steel. There is no reason why it should not be able to be returned. It is in perfect condition, having only been used twice. My only recourse now to try and get some of my wife's hard-earned money, is to try and sell it through eBay or some other method. I am so disgusted with the quality of this razor, but even more disgusted with their customer service, that I have to say this is NOT a company you want to do business with."

"OK so I was all excited to receive my dovo straight razor. when I received the package I opened it and discovered that the razor was not the one I ordered. The one from their web site ( the one I wanted) was not in my hands. OK that sucks so I have to wait another 2 weeks to send it in and get the correct one back. I emailed them to let them know of the mishap. Stated on their web page is their policy that they usually respond in a day, well that didn't happen. I wrote another email the next day ( in the evening) and heard nothing again. So then on the third day I wrote them telling them I wanted my money back and would go somewhere else. Finally I get a phone call and a message saying "the manufacturer sometimes does change the way they make the razors from time to time." OK you shouldn've let me know. And state that on the website near the PICTURE of the product!! WARNING YOU MIGHT NOT GET WHAT IS PICTURED HERE!! Now I can't get a hold of them for the return number and I am stuck with a crappy hundred dollar razor that isn't the one I purchased. Real shady, stay away.
