"Don't ever order anything from ClubMac! On November 20th, I ordered an Ipod with free engraving. Website said it was in stock, would ship quickly, which was what I wanted, since it was a birthday present (birthday was on 12/1). Unfortunately the problems started immediately - there was no place during the ordering process to state what I wanted engraved. Tried to call, couldn't get anyone to help me. A few days later, I get an e-mail addressed to some guy named Richard (I'm female) telling me I failed to provide engraving info and they won't ship til I call them. No apologies from them for calling me by the wrong name, or for the fact that I'd already tried to get them the engraving info. They told me they'd engrave it and ship it that same day. Three days later, they shipped it - TO THE WRONG ADDRESS! They shipped it to me, instead of to the Ship To address provided during the ordering process (which is in a different state than where I live) - keep in mind that they even sent me an e-mail after I ordered thanking me for the order and it clearly showed the proper Ship To address. Had to make even more phone calls and forward them their own e-mail showing the address they were supposed to ship to. They did contact the shipping company to re-route the shipment, which does look like it happened (even though it did get to my city before being intercepted) but it still hasn't been delivered to the right address, maybe it will get there tomorrow, almost three weeks after I ordered, and way late for the birthday.

"This is one of the worst companies I've had to deal with...I ordered 10 Camcorders from them on July 30, 2009. On the website, the item is advertised as being "in stock and ship the same day". Today is the Aug 8, 2009, they have yet to ship the items. They did not notify me of any problem or delay. I called today to check the status of my package just to find out that it has not been shipped. To make the matter even worse, they refuse to cancel my order, they say I will have to wait for the package to arrive, accept it then obtain a RMA from them, then return the package in order for them to refund me for the purchase. That is just crazy! I am calling my credit card company and notify FTC & BBB"
"Clubmac has the worst customer service...Never buy from Clubmac. I tried to buy items twice fro them and I never got them or even a response so I haad to call them many times. I got only fake answers and very bad excuse. They used very bad language. Don't buy from Clubmac."
"I find it hard to believe that I am the only person who has had such a negative experience with this company. I ordered a 52" Sony Bravia from this company. The website showed it as being in stock and ready to ship. I called to ask if the unit was new or refurb. After speaking to the sales rep, he assured me that it was a new unit and that they had only 8 left, so if I wanted one, I better order now. So I placed the order. I immediately received a confirmation e-mail, but that's ALL I ever received from them (unless frustration counts). The TV was ordered on 03/11 and should have been shipped by 03/13. Nothing shipped, no phone call, no e-mail, nothing to notify me of the status except that the website said my order was "in process". I called them back on 03/23 to find out what was going on with the order. I was told that they ran out of the TV and it was now on backorder until 03/30, even though the site and the sales rep said it was in stock when I ordered it. After waiting a week, still no phone call, e-mail or notification of any kind on the status. I called back on 04/01 and was told that it was backordered until 04/06. What a scam. 3 weeks of frustration and getting nowhere is not worth it. This company is a scam. Shop and buy from a reputable online retailer. Oh, and watch out for the "authentication process". Another way of attempting to rip people off."
"Ordering process took some time. They seems to prevent any online order fraud. It is good intention but it is not convenient to me. I had to go through several steps. Anyway, after going through credit department, everything was so fast. They shipped on the same day. Maybe I did not understand their processing.
Update : It came in just 3 days. The packing has been done very well. This is excellent seller.
Remember that you have to go through their credit department to clear your order even though you finished all process in web. They really want to make sure any credit card fraud.

"Generally I am satisfied by clubmac.com. The service somehow is related with the sales reps you are talking to.
I ordered Westinghouse LVM-42W2-REF 42inch refurbished 1080p monitor from them on 8/24 because of its super low price ($699). At the time when I ordered the web site shows that it was in-stock. However I didn't really believe it. So I put it aside and just wait the order shipping confirmation to show up.
The order confirmation came on 8/26 stating that my order is back ordered and that was under my assumption. I was still waiting the ship since I was not that in hurry to use the monitor.
on 9/5 I called them since no indication of shipment. A rep answered my phone and told me that the set will be shiping on 9/6. On 9/6 I received shipping confirmation. I finally received the set on 9/13.
The package had several holes in the carton box and after opened the box I found that the packaging is really poor. There was almost no cursion to protect the edge of the set. And also I found that the base of the set is bent heavily so that I can not put it horizontally on a flat surface. It looks like that the set has been sold and returned several times.
The second day I called clubmac.com and a rep listened to my complain and immediately he offered the return of the set with free pickup at my house. I was surprised that he did that because I was ready to battle with them.
The set was pickup on 9/15 and I was refunded on 9/23 after the set was delivered to clubmac including the shipping cost.
So I am not happy about the quality of the product but I am satisfied by this particular sales rep. I am not sure if it was not him how this would go.

"Reseller quoted both items as being in stock, available for immediate shipment. I placed my order that day, and by the evening got a message that the items were back-ordered. 4 days later, the items are still back-ordered, but still showing as available for immediate shipment on their website. Clearly, the "availability" status on their website is ficticious and entirely disconnected from their inventory, designed entirely to capture as many orders as possible. I wasted 4 days waiting to get an answer on when the item would ship, and had to cancel the order when I got no actual shipdate from them."
"This is a very confusing company to work with.Product was listed in stock, is still listed in stock, yet is backordered on my online shipping status.When I asked for an eta they could give me none!Very dissatisfied.Also its very hard to understand their accents on the phone, and there is a delay in the phone transmission making it even harder to understand them."
"ordered macbook pro on the 14th. received an email from them asking me to call them regarding how i didn't opt to buy additional items that were free after rebate. (i didnt want to bother w/ the hassles of rebates). received another email asking me to call again to confirm my order, answered questions about my billing information. when finally everything checked out, i received my MBP 4 days later. note that they will not give you the tracking number but you are able to check the status on their site. i like how they first put the MBP box in a plastic bag, then sealed inside a return box and finally inside the UPS delivery box. came in handy when stupid UPS left the package in front of my house in the rain, w/o a signature!
note that clubmac.com is the same company as macmall.com and pcmall.com as i've received email communications from them regarding my order."
"I look & inspect products at the Apple store in Atlanta, but buy from Club Mac: 4 laptops, 1 desktop, 1 cinema screen, 3 airports, software, laptop batteries, CD burner, external HD, etc over the past 4 years. Good website, repsonsive, knowledgeable staff (has never been pushy), on-time delivery, and great when I needed to return something. Have always had a very positive experience with this vendor and will certainly continue shopping there."
"ClubMac was listed by a search engine as having the lowest price when shipping was included on an Epson Stylus R800. They offered free shipping but that was limited to $30. They then shipped my printer and ink separately and via "overweight" (ie high priced) shipping. This bumped the shipping price to almost $40 for ground shipping. The price was still reasonable, but the deceptive nickle and dime approach to pricing is tiresome."
"A rep from this company told me that a particular item would work with a computer I had. It didn't, something I found out when it arrived. I called them to get a return set up and was told someone would have to call back. They never called. I e-mailed and faxed to get them to respond and neither was responded to. I contacted the Better Business Bureau, which finally led to a response. They did what they should have once they heard from the BBB but it shouldn't have taken that long or that much effort on my part."
