"I wish I had found this before I ordered from Cobb's Diesel. I ordered an EFI Live tuner on January 3rd. They had a coupon for 10% off for the New Year’s holiday. The coupon has no exclusion listed for EFI Live. I purchased the item for $799 minus the 10% for a total of $718. The credit card was charged immediately. I waited several days, and the status of my order did not change. I called on 1/6 and spoke with the shop. The assured me the item would go out on the truck that afternoon. I called back on 1/11 as my order status online still showed new. I then learned that they do not have the item, and will not order the item until I pay an extra $100 because the price of the item had gone up to $899. I asked multiple times to speak with the owner, John and was denied the ability. I proposed what I feel is a very equitable solution by splitting the difference of the new sale price ($899 * 10% discount=801) and my purchase price. They refused, and would not even allow me to purchase the item for the sale price of $801. I am curious to know how many days they would have waited before they contacted me to inform me of this change, had I not initiated the contact. Now I have to pay for an item I did not receive on this month’s CC bill, and then get a credit next month because they sat on it for almost 3 weeks. Google their name on some of the Ford Diesel Truck Forums, and you will see more results. Too bad they show up in the top google search results."
"One of the worst vendors I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Will charge your credit card immediately upon ordering, ignore phone calls/voicemails/emails and have any number of excuses to not ship you the product you've ordered. Working through my CC to dispute payment. There are several diesel truck forums that warn of their lack of customer service and business etiquette. Yet their products still show up on Google Products!"
