"I would have to say my first experience with comfort first involved a closeout stroller.. It was the Combi twin Sport 2006 "on purpose pink" closeout stroller..I ordered the stroller which I was told was in stock.. They billed my paypal and I waited for over a week to recieve my stroller.. I finally called and the rep said that the stroller was not going to be shipped due to it being "sold out" she refunded my paypal and I continued looking for a few days, I found a more recent version of the same stroller and decided to purchase. I called and asked if the stroller really was in stock due to me needing it for a beach trip. The answer was yes. The stroller came in a box that was beaten up either by FEd ex or their warehouse.. pulled out stroller and it looked fine. When I proceeding to check out the stroller I couldnt decide if the stroller was study enough for the weight of my 3 yr old at 35lbs(seat were max weight of 45lbs) my other daughter is 16 lbs. The stroller seemed so weak and sways very much.. I am unable to use it for my desired uses.. I tried to return the stroller( but since I test drove it outside for a total of half a block I no longer can, even tho the wear on tires are non showing, at least this is what the 1st rude rep told me) i called Combi and they said their hands were tied. So I recalled Comfort 1st to see if I replaced the wheels to make it new could I return it.. they said no.. But for a 20% restocking fee.. return shipping I could return it.. I agreed and was sent an email. In the email it stated that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee and original and return shipping costs.. So I called back the same rep got on the phone said yes to email verbage and then told me to hold. As I was on hold I was figuring out how much shipping both ways and 25% of my purchase price would be. The original rep who told me absolutly no returns got on the phone and said "I told you earlier that we would not accept this return!(very rudly), since you now have a return label I obviously can not take it back!. You will be charged the shipping fees and the 25% restocking fee." she then went on to say that I would be better off selling it on Craigslist or some other sale site. I feel that this stroller has nothing wrong with it.. and to cause me the inconvience in the 1st round with this company and now this... I will NOT BE DOING ANY MORE BUSINESS with Comfort 1st. and I actually work at a O.B.'s office and I will never recmd that stroller or that website.. Customer service is a big deal to making a company great. This company definitly lacks the consitancy and the service to make this company worth rcmnding.. I would have been willing to pay shipping both ways.. but not the restocking fee..I know this stroller will be shipping to another house in a full price transaction."
