Do not do business with his company

"They sent me the wrong part. I sent them an email asking for a prepaid return label so I can send the item back. They sent me a return email telling me that there is a 20% restocking fee and I will be responsible for the shipping cost too. What a ripoff. It was their mistake by sending me the wrong part and they want me to pay for everything. "

Terrible customer service

"Ordered a part and paid for 1 day shipping. Not going to have it for two days. The order was processed and filled. They send me a confirmation email and everything. Now I'm sitting in my house at 86 degrees and and AC. Called and the lady on the phone was no help what so ever. "

Great!

"Good company here folks, most if not all the clowns leaving bad reviews are tree hugging PC crybabies when they refuse to listen to what they are told, and/or do not know what they are doing. ComfortGurus is not here to solve your problems, they sell products, they will help if they can. Everything I've ordered has been great, and guess what, if it breaks, they did not make, if its late, they are not UPS etc..
Boo frickity hoo, the worlds not perfect, build a bridge and get over it. And yourself.

Sorry customer service

"I bought a drain pan for a old ac unit towards the end of July and then waited to have it installed and when I did call a ac man he got here and it will not work on my unit when I called comfort gurus they said first that I waited to long to get a refund and I told them they told me it would work but will not and then she told me that it was special order I told them they never told me they had to order it they just told me it would be shipped within2days then the manager lady got on the phone and told me they was not going to give me a refund because I didn’t have the name of person who sold it to me but if I had told her it was a warranty problem they could give my money back but that was the only way and then tells me they are closing and turning off the lights and hung up on me this place should stand behind their products and if it will not work on your ac unit then they should give you your money back if it has never been installed. "

Did not honor advertisd price, cancled order

"Gave them a shot with a first time order. I placed the order on some urgently needed parts.

Later in the day they canceled the order saying "sorry the price has gone up we won't honor it."

Its a badly run company to make errors like this and waste customer time.

Horrible costumer service and return policy

"Do not buy from this guys, horrible customer service and return policy, I buy AC Brinmar SBSHD Sound Blanket and was too small.
Try to return I didn’t know I cannot touch the my porches, open the box or plastic bag, if wont feet it is yours, you are done even after return with RMA they will not accept because it has been used, like plastic bag was open, because of that they will not accept, they will offer send back to you, but you have to pay shipping charges.
I never here this kind of stilling when you returning. Wish they have 0 star I can mark, this guy’s worth 0 stars. This confortgurus? I call comfort stiller, this web site is out of my shipping list.
$40 dollar item I pay shipping when buy, when return with RMA and now have to pay shipping return to me because cannot accept my merchandise it used, I just open the plastic bag.

"I am very disappointed in the product you shipped to me. Although the ordering went fantastic, the product itself was damaged. The box wasn't damaged in any way so I have to think that you shipped it that way. The metal fan shroud was damaged and the control panel took the hit because two of the brackets were broken and that is where the shroud was dented in. I didn't want to take a chance that the new control panel was damaged before installing the whole unit and I knew my control panel still functioned, so I transferred the new motor and fan assembly only to my old metal shroud. I was hoping to be able to take the new product, as shipped, and replace the old with no extra work and have all new components. Turned out it took another two hours to swap the components. The packing that was in the shipping box around the assembly wouldn't have protected a roll of bubble wrap let alone a 37 lb. blower assembly. Sorry ComfurtGurus, but your shipping department and QC program needs to be addressed so it doesn't happen to someone else. "

"I ordered a condenser motor from them in 04/14 and the unit came brand new and unharmed reasonably quick. To top it off they had the best price by a good bit so I saved some $!
When it came to replace my furnace gas valve in 12/14 I started looking for best prices and it happened to be Comfortgurus again! Now that I have done business with them before and know that they deliver as promised it was an easy decision to make.

"Very positive experience! Ordered a 51-23055-11 Rheem condenser fan motor online using PayPal on a Wednesday, and received on Friday via UPS ground to southern Nevada (from Midvale UT). Did not register at website and did not receive any order confirmation (other than PayPal) or tracking emails. The motor was very well packed (double boxed). On the Corsair FPBA-036JAS (Mfd. 12/97) model . . the old motor had 3 wires with brown to the dual 40/3/370 capacitor fan terminal (orange to common). The new motor had 5 wires and required purple to capacitor fan for proper up-flow blade rotation (with 2 unused wire ends connected)."

""I had the opposite experience from the last reviewer. I have ordered from ComfortGurus three separate times and had excellent customer service. The last time, I ordered an update installment filter for my AC unit in February of 2011. I didn't get around to opening up the package until July of 2011 - 6 months later. The order invoice was correct, but the product inside was wrong. I figured I was out of luck but gave ComfortGurus a call. They quickly replaced the product with the right one, no hassles, and even paid for shipping on the new product and return shipping of the old product. That, to me, is amazing, virtually extinct, old fashioned American customer service! I got on just to look for review sites so I could toot ComfortGurus horn...and I'm darn busy. "I ordered an "Essick Evaporative Swamp Cooler Blower Wheel from the ComfortGurus.com. Upon receiving the wheel on, it seemed to be used. It was dirty and rusted. I returned the wheel.

This was their response: "Unfortunately, the wheel you got was, in fact, new. It was stored in a warehouse, unboxed. This is how they are stored and shipped. The decision to not install the wheel was yours. That would be the only way to know if the wheel was faulty. If you had installed it and the set screw broke or the wheel failed, you would then be entitled to a full refund or warranty replacement. This is how we receive these wheels and this is how we sell them. We have not had any problems with the others that we have sold."

I then responded "Why would I attempt to install a rusted bolt when the wheel I have is broken due to it being rusted? The problem here is that the product you sent was not properly stored which caused the part to be defective."

They also charged me a 20% restocking fee.
