"I ordered a helmet that was available on Competition's website. This helmet was perfect and matched my bike. I didn't get an email until Monday afternoon letting me know it wasn't available. If it wasn't available, why did it let me order it? You would think the website would be updated often. They offered me the same helmet in a different color. My bike is red, white, and blue....the helmet they offered was green, black, and white. That just added insult to injury. I was already frustrated about the product I ordered. I ended up locating the helmet in Sacramento, CA and it's on it way. "
"Delivery was timely and product was in good condition. The problem I have with the product is that the Shoei helmet was manufactured in October of 2011. I did buy a sale- close out item but I didn't realize how old this helmet was. Helmets only have a certain amount of usable years and based on the manufacturer date I can only use this helmet for a couple of years due to its age. This greatly diminished the so called savings. I feel that compacc should disclose the age of the helmet when selling it. I will not buy from compacc again . I will go to my local MC shop in two years when this sale helmet is past it's service life and pay whatever the list price is on a current helmet. Compacc is not as serious about safety as I am. I am a all the gear all the time rider and from now on I will buy all of my gear somewhere else."
