"Timely delivery of computer, packaging was good and everything I asked for was installed! Elena helped me get a great computer and was knowledgeable about the systems. I just got the computer and have to fill this in to activate the warranty, but I need to run the system through its paces. So far, so good. If the costumer service is any indication of the product and the people who put it together, I expect great things."
"System is great, only problem was a case fan that quite working within three weeks of receiving the unit."
"Awesome computer and it arrived very quickly."
"I shopped a number of sites that let you build your own computer on line. ALLPCZone was the only site that answered my questions and helped me build my dream computer. It runs like a breeze and is lightening fast! Shipping was even faster than they said it would be. From now on, this is my computer store!"
"I would rate my experience with AllPCZone/ComputerLX.com as excellent! I researched several other build companies like Ibuypower, etc., but read many reviews about these companies that were negative. I found the website (computerLX.com) was easy to use, and let me experiment with a lot of different options. I consider my computer knowledge as advanced intermediate. I knew what I wanted from the website, but still wanted to ask a few questions about motherboards and graphics cards. When I called to order, my salesperson (Gene) was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. I ended up spending about $2500 and received the machine in about a week. You could tell it was put together very carefully. I was also provided several other small extras you wouldn't receive with some of the bigger computer suppliers. When I compared the machine I ordered with similar machines from Dell and HP that still didn't have all the features of mine, they were almost $1000 more expensive! I ended up ordering a new monitor that was shipped directly from ASUS that had a "dead" spot in the upper right corner. The customer service at ALLPCZone provided me with the phone number to contact ASUS, as they aren't directly involved with that type of peripheral equipment. I called ASUS, got a return authorization with free return shipping, and should have a new monitor within 10 days. This was the only hiccup in my order, but with no fault of ALLPCZone. They were very apologetic for the problem. Without any hesitation I would order from them again. My sister-in-law is considering a new machine, and I plan to steer her to ALLPCZone."
"Friendly customer service, quick free shipping, great price, and great warranty make this a happy customer. "
"ComputerLX provided me with excellent service. They were able to talk with me on the phone and provide me with a great computer system that didn't break my bank but performs amazingly. They were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for an exceptional computer system."
"Extremely satisfied. Other places charged $150 more for my desired configuration. I was provided the wrong tracking number, but as soon as I brought it to their attention, they immediately gave me the correct tracking number. This apparently shows excellent customer service! "
"From the time the credit card was charged, it took TWO DAYS for the computer to arrive at my residence. The fastest Shipping/Processing I've ever seen! All the parts were included, everything seems to be running well! Only problem was that one driver was not pre-installed, but there was a very easy fix for that. Overall, I am VERY satisfied!"
"I got exactly what I ordered in a timely manner. The salesperson that I spoke with was very helpful. She helped me to pick the best options for my custom computer system."
"Great place to shop for hardware. Good price and super fast shipping. Ordered on the 8th shipped on the 11th. No problems with the purchase I set it up plugged it in installed the OS and my other programs and have a super fast quad core system with a 64 bit OS.
Will shop again!"
"I am very happy with ComputerLX.com. My machine arrived just today. It was very well packaged, and did not suffer any problems from the transport. I plugged it in, tested basic things and everything works perfectly. Exactly to the specifications - nothing more, nothing less. No bloatware, all manuals and CDs included. The service was very professional. I had a couple small mistakes on my order, and I was contacted right away by e-mail in a courteous manner. After my mistakes were corrected, they put together my computer in minimum time. The wiring inside looks very professional and the PC is very quiet. I strongly recommend their services. I consider the price I paid very good for the level of service that I was provided - rock-bottom prices aren't necessarily the best thing."
"Very good buying experience. They helped me build a great gaming computer within my budget. There was a no power up issue on the first day I received my PC but Brian from the tech department helped out quickly. It turned out to be a disconnected wire on the inside that came lose during shipping (which is mentioned in a setup sheet when you receive your pc) It was easy to reconnect. I'm a satisfied buyer!"
"I ordered a custom gaming computer from AllPCZone. The shipping part was a bit of a hassle, as I did not realize it would cost 50 dollars for PO box shipping (thought I had read it somewhere, but then couldn't find it again so I thought it might have been another listing I was thinking of). But it all worked out in the end, they just did it through USPS instead of UPS so I could have free shipping. I didn't actually get to use my computer until months later, as we were in the process of moving and I didn't have anywhere to put it in our old house.
As they will mention in the papers you receive, if you have a computer, like me, with 1 trillion bytes of hard drive space, your windows or OS installation will take up a bit of that, so don't freak out if its not 1 trillion when you login. At first it went really well, but then I started having problems with the system suddenly turning off. I got a repair guy to come out, and it turns out all it was was that I was pushing the system back and into my desk, turning the system off. So that is really the desk's fault and not the desktop's fault. However, he found that my fan wasn't spinning, and got it to spin again. But, it wobbles and hits the LED lights that are with it, so not only does it make one heck of a racket, but it does not work correctly and sometimes even stops completely, getting stuck... I was also surprised at how light weight the system is. There is hardly anything in it, for how much RAM, hard drive, etc. is in it. Not a bad thing, but I was just surprised. They also include extra wires (which are capped off so you won't get zapped) for if you want to install anything else in the future. They also mentioned this in the papers I received. The speakers, keyboard, and mouse, came free with the system. The keyboard's F key at first wasn't working very well, but it's either working now, or I've just subconsciously learned to press it harder, lol. The speakers too, at first, were complete crap. Crackling and making this horrible constant noise. But since using them for a while, I haven't heard the crackling or the constant noise. The mouse has had no problems.
They send papers, as mentioned above, which basically talk about your system and such. I like that, that they educate the customer and don't leave you in the dark. Everything installed on your computer, the boxes and manuals come with it too. I also like that. I don't like that you have to write a review about your purchase before you warranty is valid. The warranty will also only cover problems with the hardware, if you caused any damage, they won't fix it. Which is fine I guess. But I sort of wonder that if there is any damage to the system AT ALL, that they won't touch it, even if it is having hardware problems that was not caused by you."
"I encountered two issues with my order:
1) slower than advertised processing
2) defective power supply
The website says something like 1-4 business days for them to ship your new PC. I placed my order on 11/13/2011, it was picked up by fed ex on 11/23/2011, and then I received it on 11/29/2011. That's 8 business days. Eight days is not an eternity, but when you advertise 1-4 days it becomes a factor in the purchase decision, and I expect 1-4 days. I had no unusual parts in my order nor was there any issue with my credit card (I called and checked).
When you check status on their website it just says something like "order pending". It's a little hard to tell if they are currently building, waiting for a part, have already built and doing a burn in, haven't even charged your credit card yet, etc.
When I received the PC and tried it out, after a couple hours the power supply would start getting louder and louder and louder...
I called service and they promptly sent me a new power supply. I got it installed and all taken care of. They had fed ex come and pick up the defective one for the return."
