"I went looking for a computer on Dell's website, but was really disappointed at the complete lack of any detail or specs about what was inside their PCs. On Dell's web site, I found it hard to identify what ports were on the back, and it was impossible to determine the power supply watts, did it have USB 3.0 or just 2.0 ports, etc. I've given up on Dell and similar PC builders.

I saw a few other "custom" PC makers on the web, and read many reviews and forumn stories. I went with AllPCZone / ComputerLX.com because they seemed more reliable, stood behind the sale more than the others and have very reasonable prices.

I put my machine together via their web site, knowing exactly what components were inside. Knowing the internal components, I was able to read many reviews and make informed decisions and stuck to my budget. I ordered online, and the machine came surprisingly fast and was well packed. It came in a generic brown box (which won't draw any attention to the contents). Inside that box was ample packing peanuts, the mother board box, and the computer packed within the OEM case box. The mother board box contained the various manuals and CDs to the components, the actual CPU box, OEM OS DVD, extra screws, etc. The PC was securely packed using the OEM case box and packing. After it arrived, I opened the case to check it out and nothing was loose or out of place. Although I didn't get the "professional wiring" option, the wires were reasonably routed and care was taken as to their placement. There was ZERO crapware installed on my PC!!

2) The tech support seems good, though I haven't called on it yet.
3) Machine is NOT shipped with a lot of crapware, unlike Dell/HP/Sony/Gateway/etc. That is good.
4) Warrenty seems pretty good.

One note from you're 12 note sheet...Do consider supporting LINUX, I note as a 15-year user of it, it has really come into it's own and a lot on non-gamer high end users are really warming to it.
