When contacted, Giants climed that the drives were new, but then admitted that the drives were refurbished and claimed that new drives were no longer being manufactured. Then wanted me to pay for return shipping. The product is still listed on their website, as 'New Bulk. In Stock. Ship Today.'."
"I ordered 2 items from this store. I received one fairly quickly (200GB hard drive). I never received the second item (card reader). I called them, they said it was shipping from a different warehouse. I called again a few days later, they said it had been shipped. I called again and again, and now i give up, 3 weeks later. Basically these people lied to me, got confused, never shipped the other item out. Its a good thing credit card companies take the consumer's side on these kinds of disputes, because these guys definitly charged my card. Thanks but no thanks computer giants, you lost my business."
"Maybe I'm spoiled by other vendors, but computergiants took a long time to ship a 250GB HDD I ordered. Also, after about 3 business days the status hadn't changed on their site, so I e-mailed both of their customer service contacts and they never bothered to reply ---24 hours later I had to call (and spoke to one of the two contacts, so it's not like they were out of the office when my e-mail came in). They were nice enough on the phone.
Overall the item came in a reasonable amount of time for free shipping, but they took 3-4 business days to even ship the drive, which to me is slow."

Shipping speed was acceptable, but a little on the slow side. I place the order on Sunday, they didn't ship it until Wednesday evening, and they didn't send me a shipping number until Thursday evening. Also, their indication for backordered items could be more obvious. But these are minor things (if you know about them). I would certainly buy from them again."
"I ordered a Hitachi HDD from them, and realized that I made a mistake in the order 10 minutes after. I gave them a call to try and cancel the order. They were quick in doing so, with no cancellation charges. I have no experience with their products/shipping, but I would have to commend them on their prompt service and willingness to cancel orders without any extra charges."
"I had a tremendous experience with ComputerGiants.com. First, they had by far the cheapest price available for an option part for a Compaq/HP Proliant server. Their website clearly stated that orders must be in by 4:00 EST to be shipped same day -- I got mine in by 2:00. I later heard from them (about 5:30 EST) that there was a problem with my credit card. I called and spoke with a very friendly customer service rep who cleared up the card issue (my fault) and said that unfortunately I should expect it to ship out the next day because it was so late in the day before I got the credit card cleared up. To my pleasant surprise, my package still shipped out that night and was at my office the next morning - less than 24 hours from ordering!
Oh - they also have the most granular and up-to-date order status I've ever seen. They have several different statuses as your order moves from order to credit approval to packing to shipping -- very awesome feature!
Overall, great customer service, excellent prices -- I'll definitely order from these folks again soon."
"It went on vacation but forget the cord that connects my iPod to the AC plug, so I figured this would be a good time to just buy one of the car adapters that includes the regular cable (iPod to AC adapter or car adapter) and the AC to DC adapter for the cigarette lighter thing on most cars. The Griffin Technologies one is a great one, and Computergiants.com had it for the cheapest. I ordered mid day July 1st, and recieved it today, the 9th. I am disappointed that it took so long to get here, but when you figure in the fact that it was July 4th weekend it's not so bad.
The package arrived by UPS ground and everything was there, it all runs well. The invoice, however, was from PCMall, not ComputerGiants. I don't know why, but that's not really important. Another thing I didn't like is that they never emailed me telling it had shipped, and I had to send an email to the sales department to get my tracking number that was not available where it should have been on computergiants.com
Overall, these problems are minor, the product is great, and I'd order from them again, though if newegg had had it I'd go straight there first."

"Great experience. Wanted a monitor that they sold at a price lower than others but was concerned by their low ratings. Called the company before ordering to get gestalt feeling on why they were rated so low. Person I talked with didn't understand why they were rated so low, but seemed genuine, taking time to talk with me about the product. After ordering, I could not find the tracking number on their site, so called customer support and was able to get number quickly. Arrived on time and LCD monitor was exactly what I hoped for. No dead pixels!! Would definitely order from them again."
"WORST DEAL I EVER HAD ! Ordered on Oct 28th 2003, two Fujitsu SCSI-Hd´s with 15.000. About a week later, two Fujitsu 10.000 rpm drives arrived. They sent the wrong drives, i can only assume they hoped i dont see the difference. RMA-procedure took about 2-3 weeks. Then they sent Fujitsu 15.000 drives, but with Compaq-Bios, so the drives dont work on any other system than compaq (and i dont have a Compaq !). No chance to get them running on my Adaptec. We already shipped the drives to Germany, then saw they dont work, and have to send them all the way back to USA (60 $ shipping costs). Two times the wrong drive, and then they told me on the phone it would be better if i buy somewhere else!
After that, no refund for 4 weeks. About a dozen emails and phone calls later, I finally got my money back (took 10 days). Never again, sorry!. "

"Ordered a SCSI HD which I received in a timely
manner, in excellent condition. It was two
weeks before I could install it and at that
point I discovered I'd ordered the wrong drive
type. I ordered a comparable drive of the right
type and ordered that from ComputerGiants and
sent their Customer Service an e-mail requesting
an RMA, admitting I was beyond their stated RMA
eligibility period. They agreed to issue an RMA
and only charged 10% instead of the standard 15%,
because I'd ordered the replacement drive from
them.
Their policies are clearly stated, but they are
willing to be flexible about returns.
I've placed several orders with them and have not
been disappointed in the results."
"Through Computer Giants I was able to find a match for a 3-year-old hard drive, place an order at 3:30 in the afternoon their time, and for a moderate shipping price receive the item by 10:00 the next morning. On top of that, a sales rep contacted me personally befor the end of the work day to offer her support in case of any snags in the process.
