"The worst customer service ever. Ordered a spice rack, when it came one of the sheets of labels for the spice jars was missing. We were told to send it back and they would send us a new one. We sent it back. When the 'new' one arrived it was obviously one at a different customer had returned. The outer box had been retaped and the closure tab had been ripped off. The boxes of spice jars had been opened and retaped. The real kicker is that there were NO LABELS whatsoever in the box."
"Ordered a griddle from them on 1/13; product arrived a week later with scratches on the non-stick cook surface due to improper packing. Called to return the item, FedEx arrived on 1/28 later to pickup, was told that I would be shipped a new griddle. Weeks go by, haven't heard anything from them, had to call to see what was going on. They tell me that the item is out of stock and that they'll look into when the product will be back in stock abd notify me. Of course they didnt, had to call back after over a month of waiting finally decided to call to cancel order and get refund. Make sure to cancel before 2 months from order date or you'll be stuck with their store credit. Better yet just avoid them!"
"I purchased a cookware set from cooking.com on 1/9/15, I received an email that there was a problem with my billing address and they were unable to process the credit card. I emailed them clearing up an problems they may have had. Checked my credit card and their charge was posted. I called them and the agent was unable to clear the problem to me someone would call me back. Long story short no one called. Jan. 14, my credit card was charged and the cookware still had not been shipped. Cancelled the order and purchased somewhere else. There customer service is horrible, stay away. "
"I went to this site because I wanted to view higher end kitchen products. I was disappointed to see that the items I was interested in were on Amazon at slightly better prices. "i order a cooler in cooking. com on June 7, 2010 I was so happy because it was for Father's Day and my husband would love it . father's day came and never received the the cooler, so i called the COOKING.COM to find out what happened and they said that i would have to wait until June 29th , and I said that it was okay because my husband really wanted this cooler on the jun 28th gave them a call to get my traking number because i had not received in my email, when a representative attends me he tells me that they had no traking number for my item so I said I wanted to cancel the order because i had been waiting for a month and i did not wanted to wait any more .SO he said that I was to receive an email to cancel ,like 2 hours after i did not received anything so i called again. "Ordered a 12 pc set of Anolon cookware with 3 bonus pcs on 12/28/09- used an online 15% off coupon which worked perfectly. The cookware was shipped direct from the manufacturer via UPS and arrived in two shipments. The first arrived 1/5/10 and the second 1/6/10. By using cooking.com and the online coupon, I save $10 and received an extra bonus pc than if I had ordered from the manufacturer direct. Would definitely buy from cooking.com again.

"I ordered a cookbook from cooking.com on February 2. It is now February 29 and still no cookbook. I called twice and got two different answers about whether and when it had been shipped. I was charged immediately after the order but still have no merchandise a month later. Customer Service said there is nothing I can do now but wait for delivery (no option to cancel). I strongly recommend against ordering anything from cooking.com unless you are willing to wait a couple of months for it with no good customer service. "

"I ordered several Avantro thermos products (over $100 worth) from Cooking.com which were "in stock" and "usually ship within 2-3 business days." An immediate confirming e-mail stated the items would ship "shortly." A week later, nothing. I e-mailed them, they e-mailed back that they requested a tracking number from the vendor but I had to wait 2 more business days just for the *request* to be processed!
I then called them and spoke to a supervisor who said Cooking.com's contract with the vendor of these items is to deliver in 7-14 business days, that "in stock" means in stock at the vendor, not Cooking.com. That means Cooking.com KNOWS it can be as late as 10 business days or even more before it even ships. But they don't give that information on their site (e.g. stating "may ship between 2-10 business days.") This is completely misleading and contradicts the implications of their site and e-mail. Furthermore, their "expected" delivery date, even now, is beyond the 7-14 business days they claim is their contract with the vendor and is only an "expected" delivery date. This means it will be literally 3 weeks after I placed the order, *if* I get it by then. They claim that the expected delivery date was displayed when I checked out, which it was not. But even if it was and somehow I missed it, (it is currently in tiny typed red letters on their website record of my order), it contradicts everything they say and imply on their site and e-mail. One of the items was for a present to take on a trip, which is not possible now.
Cooking.com would do nothing to expedite the shipping; they would not even call the vendor to ask them to at least send it out even by UPS Ground, which would have meant I could have it delivered to my trip destination and still have the present. They refused to do anything but cancel the order and they would only do that because it hadn't shipped yet! I said no because at this point to start over again with another vendor would only delay my receiving the items even further.
Given the complete unhelpfulness of the supervisor who argued that "shipped shortly" is subjective and "it could mean being shipped in 1 month"! I would NEVER order from this company again.
They say 100% satisfaction on the site, but they certainly make no effort to do so."
