Worst ever

"I ordered an t-shirt for my granddaughters dog. I should have read comments about this company before ordering. It was too small for her dog. We needed to return it. I really wanted to talk to someone about the return policy. I tried emailing three times and they never returned my emails. They claimed that they did and that there must be something wrong with my server. I tried to call the phone number they have listed but got a message that this number is no longer in service. That was my first clue. All of a sudden i was getting emails from them and I didn't contact my server. When my granddaughter returned the t-shirt they refused to send my refund saying that their return policy states that the Mfgr cardboard hanger must be sent along with the item. They sent me a photo of the item that was sent and one that is still in the bag with hanger. They also said there was cog hair on it. The photo looked like they had just taken one out of the bag and another in the bag and said this was how they got it. I learned a $22 lesson. DO NOT BUY FROM COOL PET STUFF."

XL is a medium at best. Will not refund shipping

"I ordered an XL Clemson jersey for my lanky 55 pound two year old Labrador. It is at least two sizes too small. I am expected to pay return postage AND they will charge me for the “free” postage when they sent the original item. Unbelievable scammers!"

Worst customer service ever!!!!

"I ordered multiple items from this company and one item (a pet t-shirt) was not sized as advertised, was pink instead of red and the item had a permanent crease in the fabric from the letters being ironed on incorrectly. I chatted with a customer service rep for coolpetstuff.com and they requested I send a picture. I attached a picture to my email nicely explaining how the item was unacceptable and this is the email I received in return:

"We think it's obvious you will not be happy with tailgater tee and we prefer to refund you for it instead of replacing it. We will email you a prepaid return label shortly even though we have checked the actual sizing compared to the size chart we provide and find it to be accurate. Also while we admit the red on an actual tee appears to be a little duller red than on the stock photo provided by the manufacturer, we certainly wouldn't call it "pink", and we have not received a single complaint from any other customer of the color being unacceptable.

As I see from the chat log, we've already tried to explain that the Tailgater tee (by Hunter) is a different brand than the 4014 tee (by Pets First), and each has their own unique, different size chart. Here's the size chart from our Hunter tee product listing:

The chest is the most critical measurement, and as you can see the Hunter tee chart shows med to fit 16-20" while the Pets First tee shows 21-24". Thus I fail to see why you continue to argue that the Hunter size is "way off" because the Hunter tee in med is much smaller than the Pets First in med... it's supposed to be. You stated you need a size large in the Hunter tee, that is exactly right, and again that is exactly what our size charts indicate. The large Hunter tee chest states 20-24" and med Pets First states 21-24"... near identical. Thus, I'm not sure why you continue to argue that our Hunter size chart is "way off". I've also even pulled a med Hunter tee identical to yours from our inventory, laid it out flat, measured it, and it matches our size chart well.
Also I'm not sure why you state it "makes no sense" to send back a $15 item when postage for it would be less than $3 by USPS First Class. We sincerely try to address concerns and be helpful, and we've taken the issues you've raised seriously and reviewed them closely, but honestly it appears you are more interested in raising unfounded arguments just for the sake of arguing."

I have never ever been written to or spoken to by any customer service anywhere like this. This is a horrible company that gets mad at its customers for having a legitimate complaint, and after admitting the item is pink instead of red, continues to admonish the customer for demanding what they paid for.

"This is by Cool Pet Stuff. Please understand that we do not subscribe to this service and thus do not have the ability to reply to individual reviews, and do not monitor reviews on this site on a regular basis. At this writing there are only 6 reviews on this site for us placed over a period of several years, so obviously not a meaningful sample size. Also keep in mind that no business can please everyone, and unsatisfied people tend to seek places to vent while satisfied customers will not make that same effort to post in obscure places.

We strive to please, are proud to have many repeat and referral customers, and have been growing rapidly (we're expanding into a new warehouse soon because of our growth. The few bad reviews and complaints we have are most always due to issues beyond our control, such as manufacturing defects (we are only a retailer, not the mfgr), a carrier losing or damaging a package in transit, etc. Even when we are not at fault, we still do all we reasonably can to make things right such as reship a lost/damaged order or issue a full refund.

On the negative reviews here as examples, the pink tee had some color bleed (this is a manufacturing issue beyond our control). When the issue was brought to our attention by the customer, we did not have another in that size to exchange or we would have been glad to do so at no cost to the customer. We did offer to furnish a prepaid return label and issue a full refund. What more could we possibly have done?

Another review states we sent two "extra" toys that she did not order, she did not need, and that we refused to refund. We didn't ship "extra", we shipped what was ordered. The customer apparently made a typo or misclick on the quantity when ordering, didn't review the order before submitting, and didn't review the automated order confirmation email sent instantly as the order was placed. We welcomed her to return the ones she didn't want for a full refund (we have no restocking fees on returns) but she wanted a refund without having to return. Her review also states we wouldn't refund taxes or shipping. We didn't charge her any taxes as she didn't reside in our state, and she received flat rate shipping, so the S&H she paid for all three ($4.95) was same as it would have been if she had only ordered one.

On the reviewer that stated "I checked for reviews - good thing I did - the BBB in Nevada said this company is not in business anymore", we aren't located in Nevada. As we clearly state in numerous places on our website, we are located in Arkansas. There has never been a lapse in our business, or the ability to reach us.

"I ordered 3 items from this company and one of the items that I ordered which was a tee with a white "Alabama" script A on the tee, had pink color on it. There are some pink letters on this tee as well so it appears that the dye from the pink letters rubbed off on the white script A. I want this tee exchanged for one that is in new/excellent condition. The top has only been taken out of the box it was shipped in and has not been removed from the cardboard hanger."

"I wish this place was closed! They should be that's for sure. They sent me 2 extra toys for my dog and when I called they blamed me and would not refund me the 8 dollars plus tax or shipping. I asked for a manager and he stated he was the owner. I am a first time customer and they suck. BUYER BEWARE!! They won't taks responsibility for anything and don't care about customer satisfaction. Obviously one dog does not need three of the same toys!"

"Was going to place an order to CoolPetStuff & as I always do, I checked for reviews - good thing I did - the BBB in Nevada said this company is not in business anymore.
How can they keep this website open? Shouldn't it be shut down?!

"I would not recommend this website to anyone. I ordered a toy from them and my 4 lb. yorkie only was playing with it for about a half hour and the stitching started coming undone and started falling apart. Very undurable toys they sell and then I emailed them about it and they were blaming me saying I shouldn't play tug of war with it and my dog's too aggressive of a chewer. A 4 lb. yorkie?! Really?! This website is a joke and I am definitely an unsatisfied customer and would never buy from them again."

"My experience with Coolpetstuff.com was amazing, because I knew exactly what I wanted and they were able to supply that.

My dogs are therapy dogs and it is so exciting to know that there is a website to order little outfits for them. My dogs go to assisted living homes and nursing homes and they will be very entertained with the little dogs dressed in Cheerleader dresses.

"Great company with great products!

Small family-run company with focus on "customer service!" I had to exchange the product I ordered for a larger size and they were very responsive in guiding me how to do it. It was hassle free and they were very prompt. They will surely get my business again, as well as from my friends.
