"It's a tough choice deciding to bank cord blood and tougher still deciding what company might still be around in a year or 20 when you might need it. This startup company was about half the cost of the big leader so I took a chance as the founders seemed to have it together according to local newspapers.

Our baby was born 2 weeks early and 1 day prior to us being ready with a kit to draw the blood. This company bent over backwards to try to get the kit to me the same day before my wife delivered. But the kit through nobody's fault arrived 2hours late.
I was deeply impressed with their effort to call around in my area while my wife was in labor to find a kit locally then failing that an employee rushed on a 3 hour round trip to the airport and the company covered $100 of the $400 to try to get us a kit the same day.

An amazing effort, I was very impressed.
