"I ordered a pair of boots on December 18th with guaranteed Christmas delivery. They never showed up and the tracking showed they were never even shipped. I had to call them personally today to get any explanation of why the boots were not here. I was told they sold out before they were able to process my order. Do you think anyone bothered to let me know? These boots had just come back into stock and they are now sold out again. I would never ever use this company!"
"I ordered 2 hats in early June. The first arrived in rather bad shape but a death in the family caused me to forget about it. By July 6th, I realized my Stetson had not arrived. After some checking I realized County Outfitters had been notified by UPS that the box they sent arrived to them empty and damaged on June 26 and it needed replacement. I sent my first email with .Pdfs of the UPS screens and details requesting my hat as I needed it for a party on July 14. Automated email said response in 24 hours.
24 hours later nothing so new email. And 6 hours later a call. First. I was told it was my fault for not notifying them because UPS tells their warehouse and Customer service does not get the information?!? I replied kindly that had I not had the death in my family I likely would have noticed it sooner butvitvis not my fault you and your warehouse dont communicate. Then she said I'd have to wait weeks while they investigated. I reminded her there's nothing to investigate. UPS already completed that and I don't have my hat. She then promised she would overnight my hat so I would have it in time for my Friday event.
Friday came and went, nothing from this company who has already billed my credit card last month.
I went online to Sheplers, ordered my exact same hat for $5.00 less and got free overnight shipping. I sent an email the same day I ordered my new hat canceling my order. Today I called (since again no email response) and they had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON MY ORDER AS OF 7/24/18, A FULL MONTH after notification by UPS and 4 emails and 2 customer phone calls. I requested an email certifying they were canceling the order and crediting my credit card and told them they lost a customer. He could have cared less. He first said i wouldn't get an email then when I asked for a manager he said, oh wait yes you will. You guessed it. Several hours later, my instant email I was promised detailing my credit is still not here. Use Sheplers. Their customer service and prices are top notch! "
"There customer service and return policy is terrible, I ordered a pair of cowboy boots yesterday around 1pm, then I decided I didn’t want a pair of cowboy boots after all, so I call in today at around 9am not even a full 24 hours after ordering, I called in and the lady informed me that she cannot cancel my order because it’s in PROCCESING, wtf man she told me there’s nothing they can do because the computer won’t let them, even though the order hasn’t shipped out yet smh, but she would send me a email me a shipping label so I won’t have to pay to return the boots, but that does nothing to change the fact that I have to wait at least 5-8 business days to get the package, be unconvinced by going to ship it then wait for how ever long it takes for it to get back to them, then how ever long it take for them to process and get the money back on my card, it’s ridiculous an completely unexeptable so I will never be doing business with them again, and I suggest you don’t ether."
"The WORST customer service. I shop online all the time since I live in a rural location so I know bad service from good. Countryoutfitter.com cares nothing about customer satisfaction. They have a very restrictive return policy of only 30 days. I missed the deadline and they refused to accept a return on cowboy boots (for store credit; I agreed to buy another pair). The boots were brand new and unworn and Countryoutfitter.com still stocks and sells the exact model of boots so there is no reason not to take them back. I asked twice and was refused and then asked for a customer service manager. Every time they simply quoted their return policy. Their attitude said very clearly "We do not give a sh*t." Do not order from Countryoutfitter.com."
"I can't remember a time when an online retailer gave me such an abysmal experience. Ordered a Carhartt women's coat on November 17 and got confirmation of the order the next day.
As of December 11, today, no shipment, not even an update telling me they realize the product has not shipped. Called support last week to check and was told it would ship out "soon."
I guess Countryoutfitter.com has a very liberal idea of what "Soon" is, particularly around the holidays.
WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL TELL OTHERS!"
