"This organization started out just fine when we worked with them several years ago, payouts were accurate and communication was fluid. I had no reason to question them. But recently I reviewed several of our payout receipts, we have almost $1000 in payout missing over the last year because CourseHorse claimed the students were not confirmed. I have emails stating FROM COURSEHORSE that the students were confirmed and attending, even up to the day of the workshop, but we still did not receive payout. I've dealt with a lot of folks in the 6 years of running my organization, but this is some of the most upset I've been with a partner and I've never gone out of my way to write a negative review about another company, but not paying your partners crosses a huge line."
"I would give it a zero but 1 star is the lowest. I paid for my wife and myself to do a candle making course. It was my 16 wedding anniversary (wax year) present to her. Bought the kit they suggested on lime. Showed up online at the correct time and no one showed up including the teacher. It’s been almost a week and they have not responded. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY THEY ARE A RIP OFFF"
"I do not put my cell when I sign up for things because I do not want spam texts or calls, but Coursehorse required it. The very next day I was receiving automated phone calls of people speaking an Asian language. That Monday I started receiving false texts about my cell phone payment being "unsuccessful" and debit card being compromised. The one time I had to put my number is the one time they sold it. They also ended up canceling the course I signed up for, then crediting the account instead of refunding my card. "
"Due to CORVID-19 outbreak, Coursehorse said it is withholding payment to its instructors by three weeks. The company said it hopes to pay the class signup fees that they have already received by April 1. It was loosely noted that the company will try not to go beyond April 1. It takes another week for auto deposits to arrive via direct deposit. This comes at a time when many freelance teachers are without any pay.
Instructors are under contract to be paid every two weeks."

"Organization & details are poor! Signed up for Soap Making class. 2 confirming emails. Most recent should have had location but only lists El Camino College. Completely misses the classroom! No contact info for anyone in less than 12/24 hours because “after business hours”. Really. Then get your job done in advance! Wandering around campus, attempting to find class. . . "
"I took an Excel class through this company at a school I'm not going to mention. I honestly didn't love the class, but it was easy for me to find something, and when I contacted customer support about my experience they were very understanding and helped me get a refund from the school. It took a little bit to get the refund but that's to be expected since they had to negotiate with the school on my behalf. I will definitely be booking with them again!"
"I signed up for a class on Coursehorse. The class was cancelled and I received an e-mail 12:33AM. I've been waiting three weeks for a refund. They claim it was credited to my bank account. I called my bank twice and carefully checked my bank statements. Still no refund. I will call the college tomorrow, to ask about my refund. If needed I am going to take legal action against Coursehorse and sue them for my money back. "
"There are a good selection of classes offered by many "experts" but they are too expensive. $1000 for a 2 hour class is outrageous. "

"Do not apply. I took a Pottery class through coursehorse at LA City College, which was subcontracted to a studio full of cats. As a pregnant asthmatic, I did not think a City College course would have cats in the classroom. Since I could not breathe in the classroom, or take my inhalers due to my pregnancy - I asked for the credit back to take another class. This request was denied. It's clear what the priorities are here - providing a safe, healthy classroom for students is not one of them."

"Innacurate information on their website. Class was full, and coursehorse charged me anyway as though there was space in it. Customer service to handle this issue has been slow: no response for 3 days! terrible, terrible, terrible lack of information, clarity, and help remedying a simple issue."
