"Placed an order with "craftmadefansolutions.com" which appears to be 1StopLighting.com under another URL / brand. They appear to carry nothing in stock making every order a special order with the manufacturer. Their site information wasn't current because the fan I ordered had been discontinued by Craftmade. I got a factory order message, and a ship date five weeks after my order date. Decided to be patient. Then got a notice that the product was discontinued, but if I chose a different product I could use a code for an additional 10% off. The site only accepts one discount code, and every order qualifies for an initial 10% off, so no way to use the discount code except by calling. Decided to start the research for the right fan over again, and asked that the order be cancelled entirely. Got a cancellation and credit notice two days later, and but the entire order hadn't been cancelled. Despite the fact that I'd ordered only one product, the fan blades had been processed as a separate item. Asked that the entire order be cancelled, and got a reply that it would be only when Craftmade confirmed that the blade portion of the order had been cancelled by the manufacturer.

So, craftmadefansolutions.com appears to be a "no inventory / special order only" reseller of Craftmade fans. Every order becomes a factory order, and those all ship from the manufacturer. I got prompt replies to my email messages, but none of them were especially helpful. I was charged immediately for a product that wouldn't ship for five weeks, and then getting a refund for a discontinued product proved to be a pill.

The last straw was getting a notice that Craftmade had changed the product number for the fan I ordered, and I could order the same fan under the new product number if I wanted to do so. At this point, I simply want craftmadefansolutions.com / 1stoplighting.com to give me my money back and let me vote with my feet. I don't want to be their customer. You probably don't either.
