"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order for a big screen TV on 6/12/03.
I asked them if it was in stock and ready to ship before I placed the order, they said it was.

After 6 weeks of calling them asking were my TV is I canceled the order, and was told I’d be credited the money they owed me back by the end of the week, well its 3 weeks later and I still don't have my money.
When I call them to ask why I don’t have my money back yet they don’t seam to care, They promise to call me back and don’t.

Avoid this store at all costs…………..

"The Invoice number above is actually the House Bill number of the carier, CGL used to track delivery..............
I ordered a 50 inch Plasma Sony XBR display with signal-processor box from Crazy Eddie in late May, recieved it in good shape the first week of June (Pacific Coast). The unit appeared undamaged and I have yet to plug it in because the wall mount was not shipped. Crazy Eddie gave me the option of getting one locally and obtaining a refund, which I did, so I can connect it this weekend. There is a world of difference between Crazy Eddie and the other Plasma A******** website that I tried to get the same unit for over a month, and got nothing but the run-around, and in the end, a refund. They did, however, give me a $600 cable for my hassles (I suppose they couldn't use it anyway, as it was a special order)Crazy Eddie inded has the lowest price, and they come through. The other place had a lower price, by about $700 out of $10,700, but could not deliver, ultimately - thus it was never a valid price. I have yet to deal with any return policy, but so far in the process, Crazy Eddie's service is excellent coupled with prices which are indeed, INSAAAANE.

"Ordered on a very tight delivery schedule, for delivery to Florida in 3 days - came on time - with good carrier and excellent tracking info from supplier and logistics. Contact at Crazy Eddie was great - Romie was always available , or phoned back in a few minutes. Sounds too good to be true?? - well it was the second time I have done this with Romie@Crazy Eddie, and the previous occasion was similar - tight schedule - specified date - and it happened - on the day.
I have ommitted the pricing - which you can see on the website. The important message is that they do know what they are doing - good info on product available if requd./they do work with good shippers/ they do follow through.
I will use them again. Cameron

"I ordered a 27" TV from Crazy Eddie. They had the best price on the net even after the $130 shipping.

However, the TV was dead on arrival. It would not power up or anything. After triple-checking that I wasn't doing anything wrong, I called Crazy Eddies and told them the problem. They promptly told me that it was a new TV still under warranty and to call Samsung for repair. Needless to say, that wasn't the response I wanted or expected. But my other option would have been to ship the TV back at my own expense for another $100. So I ended up with a Repaired TV for the price of a new TV.

Samsung service, by the way, was prompt and professional. Within one week after my initial call they had made a service visit, ordered the parts, and returned and completed the repair.

So I would seriously consider ordering from Crazy Eddie, especially on large items. They do have low prices but you are taking the risk of receiving a nonworking item and having to deal with their sub-par return policies.

After doing some research on Crazy Eddie (I know, I should've done it before I bought), I found some interesting stuff on serious legal troubles that Eddie faced for illegal business practices: "The owner, Eddie Antar was investigated by the SEC for suspicion of manipulation of financial books and earnings. Antar fled and lived as a fugitive for a while, during which time the government issued a $73 million judgement against him. He surfaced in Israel, and was extradited to the US in 1992. Eddie Antar finally pled guilty in 1996 for conspiracy and racketeering and spent seven years in prison."

Yep, he sounds Crazy to me alright.

"I ordered a Kenwood HTB 805DV. It took about a week and a half to get it from the day I submitted the order online. All-in-all the experience was OK it could have been better. The order confirmation part could use a little work. I had to call in about three times to get a UPS tracking number. The first time I called the lady said to call back on Monday. Then on Monday I called and the lady was out and the guy taking the message said he'll give me a call back. After waiting a few hours and realizing that they would be closing soon I called back and asked for the tracking number again, and this time it only took about two minutes for the gal to look it up and I had it. By the time I got my UPS tracking number the package arrived the next day.

Also, when the package arrived I got two boxes: Kenwood HTB 505 and a Kenwood 605DV. At first I thought it was a mistake, but after researching it online and reading through some news groups I came to realize that a Kenwood HTB 805DV is made up of a HTB 505 and 605DV(DVD portion).

It would have been nice to have someone tell me that in the confirmation e-mail. Nowhere on the website did I read that.

"I purchased a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV. Their price ranked with the best available anywhere. They were ready to guarantee delivery the same week within my needed time slot--and followed up with me by phone to ensure I had been contacted by the delivery service and that the item arrived as planned. It did!
I give them top marks for personal service, promising what they could, and delivering what they promised.
As an old customer from Crazy Eddie when they had retail stores, I was very glad to see them back!

"I ordered an expensive Philips DVD-R1000. They had the best price and had it in stock. I was told it would ship that day, but when I called back the next day for a tracking number, it hadn't gone out yet. It did go out that day and I got tracking info. Item arrived on time, double-boxed with warranty. They were a little disorganized when I made the follow-up call about the tracking information, but overall I am happy with transaction."
