"Ordered an item with personalization and paid extra money to have the item in hand within 1 week so I could use it as a gift. After 10 days and no communication from the company, I reached out and was told the item I ordered isn't eligible for priority/rush ordering. I would have never ordered the item if I was told that (should have never been allowed to purchase it with that shipping option).
Customer service told me there was nothing they could do for me and stopped responding to my requests. Now I am stuck with a very expensive gift that is too late to use and I can't return. Would never recommend this company to anyone!"
"I am beyond upset and disappointed in this company right now. My family and I have shopped here for years for all types of occasions. And every year my mom who is now 88 buys me some Belleek. This year she has been housebound for 10 months and started her Christmas shopping early in October. She does not have internet access so she orders by phone. To add to my Belleek collection she ordered me the Castle Luminary...apparently it arrived in a huge box that at her age and small frame she chose not to open until she gave it to me on Christmas morning. I was so excited, but when I removed the top tissue paper I could see shards of ceramic on top, and that the whole thing was cracked. I was so disappointed but called to let them know. The customer service woman asked me to email photos which I did. I told her I had only taken pictures of the top damage as I believed the entire thing was shattered and didn't want to pull it all the way out. I called today and was told they WOULD NOT replace it and the claim was denied as my mom should have opened it when she got it and we are just out of luck. I am so angry at their horrible customer service and total disregard that someone on a fixed income spent $100 on something that will now be thrown in the garbage. I will now purchase my Belleek direct from the factory. SHAME ON YOU Creative Irish Gifts!!!
And today they offered me a $25 gift card, as if I or my family will ever shop there again. "
"I have ordered through this company for many years. This week I ordered a shamrock baby dress as a shower gift. I paid an extra $26.90 to have the order rushed. (my fault for ordering so late.) Well it arrived on time, but was the incorrect size. The size was on the front of the dress as a big sticker, so it was difficult to miss. When I contacted customer service, I was given every reason under the sun why the larger size would be OK. " My grandson wore 18 month clothes when he was 6 months old, etc." " The larger size is only one inch longer and 1/2 inch wider at the shoulders." "Maybe the manufacturer put the wrong size in the shipment." "There is not much difference between 12 and 24 months." "She kept inserting 18 months size into the conversation when there was no 18 month size." ...and on and on. They did offer to exchange it. (I already paid 26.90 to have it delivered once and would need to pay more to send it back.) I feel as a long time customer, I was treated kind of shabbily. I am finished with this company. I will spend my $66.00 somewhere else next time. And I do not want any more of their catalogs."
"I ordered items for Christmas. Half of the items went on back order. I finally received some of my items after Christmas. I ordered two wooden Celtic boxes. Six months later, and I'm still waiting. I call periodically, and am told they will be in next week or next month. I called tonight, and was told they should be in on July 3rd. lol. I asked to be taken off their mailing list until I receive the items I ordered in December. I still get their catalogs, which I promptly toss in the trash. I won't order from this company again."
"I purchased 3 solar lanterns for Christmas gifts. One arrived without the solar unit. I was told they would ship me the part. After promises to call me back (they didn't), after 3 emails and the third call, I was to,d to return the unit.
This should have been resolved at the first phone call. The better resolution would have been to send me a new unit. Now I have to arrange to have sent back.
Poor service, disappointed! "
"I ordered a angel charm to hang from the rear view mirror as a christmas gift for my daughter. It was inexpensive, about $15.00 including shipping, but since I'm on a limited income and don't have a car - it was something I could get to give as a gift. I placed my order on Dec. 10. As soon as I was notified of shipping information, I began tracking my order. It shipped from Arkansas and I live in Texas, so i ecpected it in a week or so. I even called customer service when I wasn't seeing any movement of my pkg, and was told i should have it by Dec. 18. Finally on Dec. 22, my pkg showed to have been "delivered to adressee" at 5:37 p.m. Obviously, you can probably tell that my pkg was NOT delivered to me, nor was it put in my mailbox or by my front door. I questioned my postman on Dec. 26 and he said he was off that day (Dec. 22), and gave me the phone number to my local post office to see if they could help me. All this got me was being told that the pkg "shows delivered" and i could go to USPS.COM and file a claim. I tried that and found out that insurance wasn't purchased on the shipment, so it's ineligible for a claim. I called creative irish gifts customer service, thinking that they would want to help me and would hopefully send me another ornament, but i was told i would have to file a police report for a stolen item, then send them a copy of the report. I'm so disappointed that I didn't have my gift, I'm out the money for it, and there's nothing I can do. Creative irish gifts could have been helpful and caring, but they weren't. I won't be ordering from them again and I will tell my friends. "

First, I made my purchase through Shopirish.com, which is apparently a new front for Creative Irish Gifts. Had I known this it would have set off enough red flags to make me shop somewhere else. So, I purchased a set of rings, which cost well over $1,300.00 for my 10th anniversary from Shopirish.com. There was a 2 to 3 week shipping time, so after the first week I sent an email and asked for status details. I received no reply. I waited a few more days and then I called for an order status. I was informed that the order was never entered into the system. Still, I had an email invoice with an order number. I got the standard oh we’re sorry, yadda yadda yadda, what would you like us to do to make it up to you? First, I find this ploy absolutely appalling; if you don’t know how to take care of your customers, who you have inconvenienced, then get the out of the retail business. I was offered a gift certificate. A forty dollar gift certificate to make up for presenting my wife with a picture of the rings I purchased, to show to all of her friends and family at the party. When I became upset, I was asked what could be done to pacify me? I’m not joking, she said PACIFY! Eventually I was offered a 10% discount, 1% per year I guess, and a $40 dollar gift certificate to be used on the purchase. She gave me a quote for the new price and I said ok. I know but they had already destroyed my plans for my anniversary. I was going to take my wife back to the place I meet her and relive that evening, and then give her the rings. Hopefully the thought will be enough.
So, from bad to worse. I asked to be sent a letter detailing what had transpired during the phone conversation, which I did, minus the new price for the ring, SURPRISE, yeah right! I emailed back and asked for the price again, and guess what, it wasn’t quite as low as what was offered on the phone, SURPRISE SURPRISE, YEAH RIGHT!!!! I basically told them honor the pricing I was offered or cancel the order. I have not received a response. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with, and they ruined one of the most important days of my life, Thanks!!!!
