"I have been a fan of the Crockin Girls for quite a while so when they came out with a free shipping promo for their cookbook and their holiday cooking special magazine I ordered them both, hoping to get Christmas ideas. Both items were listed as in stock but I only got the holiday magazine a few days later. When I went back on the site, I saw that the cookbook had been listed as being backordered.

Well, I waited a few weeks, then I e-mailed customer service. It turned out that the cookbook WAS on backorder and they hadn't changed the site to reflect that when I ordered it, nor did they send me an e-mail notification. What was more, they apparently forgot about my order until my e-mail reminded them. I got my cookbook a few days after that, but since they're based very close to where I live I might as well have driven to pick it up. It's a great cookbook but if they come out with any more I will try and find it elsewhere first."
