"Crucial is the best. From the crucial scan of my computer to their website and ordering process. The 8 Gs of Ballistix memory (2 sticks 4 G each) I purchased works great on my computer. After installing along with my other sticks of Patriot memory (2 sticks 2 G each), I fired my computer up and it recognized all memory with no problem. My motherboard can take up to 16 Gs. Now it runs so much smoother and quicker. No more lugging when I have many programs running at the same time. The four stars is only because I paid for 3 day shipping and it actually took 7 days from the time I ordered. I guess there was a little confusion on my part when I clicked the 3 day shipping. I thought from the time I clicked the order button it was actually going to take three days. It would have been nice if there was an short explanation regarding the shipping. I think it should have said 1 day for processing then 3 days (business days). If you're close to a week end and ordering after business hours it is going to take longer. From the time crucial processes to the time it gets to UPS it takes a day. The actual delivery time was 3 business days. Very Good! Overall- I'm definitely pleased. Thank You Crucial."
"I have swapped out hard-drives and always received the right drive from Crucial. Definitely recommended for Mac drives, the advisor tool works really well.
There are guides online showing how to get into your model, it would be handy if this was included with your order, but not a big deal. Note that you'll need a Torx T6 screwdriver in addition to a standard screwdriver to install a Macbook drive properly, again, would be handy if this was included, but not a big deal."
