Regarding their drives, I've now purchased a 1 TB M550 and a 256GB MX100. I'm very happy with them. It's a very easy way to pump new life and speed into old and new equipment, and extend your battery life on notebooks. They're worth every penny. Get the biggest one you can afford, and buy the conversion kits to turn your old drive into a external USB drive.

"When I ordered a 2.5 in. SSD HDD, I thought it was strange that nothing was said about a bracket being included. It was unclear whether a bracket was going to be shipped or not with the HDD. So I waited, and the bracket was not shipped. Cloning software was also mentioned in the original advertisement. Nothing on that either.
I use a desktop. Due to the lack of information and misinformation, I had to order a bracket from somewhere else, after I received the SSD. I remember Crucial being much more service orientated. Not any more. When I went to Amazon to get the bracket I also noticed that they are selling Crucial SSDs for less money.
I am very dissatisfied. I was not told what I was going to need to install the SSD. The website I was instructed to go to assumed I had everything necessary already. Very poor communication! This is my first SSD. If it works out, I plan to buy more. I service a dozen computer at work. But I know I am not using Crucial."
