"Having had 2 good and 1 bad experience with Cruiserparts previously, I decided to order a part. Given their generally poor customer service, I checked ahead that the part was in stock. Having purchased and paid for it, after ten days I get an email explaining that the part is in fact not in stock.
New parts can be ordered from far more reputable companies. If they look like they still have a no-longer available part in stock, they most likely don't. But of course they won't tell you that, even if you check before giving them your money as integrity and honesty are not part of the Cruiserparts customer experience.
Please avoid wasting your time with this lot."
"Overpriced terrible customer service! sent me a broken part and a wrong part, Then sent me another cable that was too short. Told me it was my fault! They have done nothing to correct it! I wish I saw all the negativity on these clowns before I gave them a dollar."
"Ordered a USED spindle for a FJ80, was told by Rebekah it would ship out the following day (wednesday) but didn't know if it would go UPS or USPS for some reason. After not receiving any tracking information I called on Friday to see what was going on. Different representative answered and said it probably wouldn't ship out till the following week, I told him what Rebekah told me. He put me on hold for a moment then said he could ship it out that day but for me to get it in the time I wanted he wanted to charge me additional shipping because they did not get it out when promised. Got on ebay, found a brand new spindle with bronze bushing for $6 and some change more including shipping and it would get to me in the time I needed at no additional cost. Now that I am aware of how over priced they are I will not try cruiser parts again. Terrible first/last experience"
"After inquiring about a specific part and was assured it was in stock. I ordered via their website and my credit card was promptly processed and charge applied. Shipping was quoted as being less than 5 business days. After week three, and the part not shipped I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Once the charge was reversed, the part then magically shipped, 4 weeks after the order was placed. When the part arrived, it was the wrong part, and was from a completely different vehicle model. They agreed to accept the return with a "restocking fee". Apparently it was my fault they took 4 weeks to ship the wrong part. After I objected to the fee, they agreed to provide a full credit. However, more than a month after the return, they reapplied the charge to my credit card. The business practice of this company is about as unethical as it gets. "
"I had a fairly large order I placed with Cruiser parts.
The long and short of it is the shipping address got messed up and I incurred an extra fee at the door as a result.
I talked to cruiserparts customer service and they were absolutely fantastic.
With a place like this, my 84 land cruiser should keep rolling for many more years
on a side note, shipping can take awhile, just make sure you email them about certain parts before you place an order.
They have been very quick in responding to my emails

"Ok.Great to have a place that sells cruiser parts.. but the service highly sucks. The disposition if the phone handler seems only to diffuse blame or cause of the situation to parts or shipping. Parts were ordered (on a tues)and my CC was not processed immediately, sale was denied.. I was never called to be informed that parts were not shipped (maybe they didnt want the sale) or been enabled to give an alternatve card. Upon calling them on a fri.. I wa told the card was denied.. then i recalled to reoreder with another card, thinking this is soon overwith. The damn fools sent the parts to a wrong address. They asked for the incorrect reciever to repackage so UPS could pick it up, adn NEXT DAY IT TO ME.. DEEP BREATH and ok?? The day goes by.. nobody picks up the package. When I spoke to them.. they again diffused it to a UPS issue.. and gave me no resolution but to wait. No credit, no shirt, nothing to make up for their MISTAKES. and be sure to ask about the fuel/ salvage costs they add to each invoice.. and be sure to get it back on returned goods."
"Double shipped the order. I Called to return half of the order and the whole order was returned. Meanwhile I was double charged. I had to call to have the correct order re-shipped. It took over a week to get what I needed. There was no monetary compensation for their mistake, a;though they said they would adjust the purchase amount. Order was to be shipped to installer so I do not have the correct invoice number"
