"This seller also does business via a website called GIGAPAL.COM. This was the worst on-line customer service experience. The owner of gigapal/crunchbug, Ryan Schmidt, failed on many counts with my order-- did not return ANY phone calls, selectively answered my email, delivered UNPACKAGED software ONE WEEK LATE, and did not follow his own customer service pledges on his website. He would not cancel my order before delivery. I'm sure he only accepted the return on the item because I mailed it back certified. Now he is trying to stick me with a restocking charge. I frequently do business on ebay and I receive better customer service from ordinary folks. "
"Merchandise was immediately charged to my credit card but not shipped. After three e-mails to the company inquiring about my order, a Mr. Ryan Schmidt responded saying the merchandise was back-ordered but should ship "within the week". Merchandise was NEVER received and further e-mails to the company and Mr. Schmidt are not answered. I will have to request that my credit card issuer credit my account the amount of the order. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY."
"Elvis has left the building. This company charged my MasterCard for software, never shipped the product and will not respond to email or phone messages. Their support line message says the mail box is full and cannot accept any new messages. STAY AWAY. (I was able to reverse the credit card charge so I'm not out any money - WHEW!)"
"On Dec. 14, 2004 I ordered a program DVD X Copy Platinum, and was told that it was backordered. When I finally received the program on Jan. 14th, it arrived by mail, just a cd holder with the cd inside. I installed it and used the license number and password included. To my suprise no matter what I did, the program would not get activated. I contacted crunchbug and Mr. Schmidt emailed me with an address of the company that would help me. I tried everything they suggested, but nothing helped. I called the 800 number to crunchbug and left several messages to call me about returning the program and sending me another one. They never returned my calls. I emailed them several times with no answer. Finally, I contacted my credit card company and they said mail it back, ask for a refund. If no refund, my credit card company will reverse the charges. I ordered another copy of the same program from Upgrade Nation in Illinois, received it promptly, installed it, activated it, and it works as advertised. Do not use CrunchBug. "
