"The site was great and I compared radios... ended up buying the Pioneer DMHC2550NEX. I set out to follow instructions and install the radio myself on sat morning. I got everything out and laid out the wiring... some of it was self explanatory, but ultimately I could not figure it all out... particularly the steering wheel control wire harness. Overall, I just wanted a "wire by wire" explanation. There was lots of color codes and what not, but it was not clear and I felt like it was a bit of a guessing game. I called support number but no answer. Even left a message and no call back. ... after 4 hours, I found a local shop and paid $175 for install that likely took them 30 min. :( I was bummed out but as a working dad with limited time, I could not risk losing the whole day or more. Still love the radio and ultimately was a good buying experience. "

At first the size surprise you, they look so small, then the build look good and solid, the included cables also good and solid, the interconnect cable is the weak link of a quality product.
Connection was easy, paring the Bluetooth no problem, use an Audioengine D1 DAC for the pc interface and flac and hd music to test the system. Surprises the sound was so good and balanced, with some time using the speakers the sound quality must improve, comply with my goal a small high quality system for my desktop, next better speaker cable, better positioning and a subwoofer and enjoy.

"I was looking to get a new double din for my Honda fit. However, I didn't want to cut and splice wires. The website help me find the perfect head unit for my needs. While the unit itself was slightly more expensive than other retailers, it comes with the dash kit, instructions, and harness ( no cutting factory harness). So in the big picture it is cheaper. I paid the extra money for the "Readyharness". It was worth every penny. I had to call to order everything because I wanted the harness pre wired. But that experience was great. Even on a Sunday I got a live person without being on hold. Eddie clarified everything for me and got the ball rolling.

Shipping was fast and free and arrive earlier than expected. I had the radio and microphone swapped out in under 5 min once I got the trim bezel swapped with all the factory bits. "I was shopping for replacement speakers for my Titan. Right now they are all factory speakers (some are blown). On the Crutchfield site I was able to search for replacement speakers that fit my particular truck. Not only that, they will also send you speaker brackets and harness adapters to make the installation easier (plus they'll email you installation instructions that are specific to your vehicle). What helped out in my decision on what speakers to buy was their Virtual Audio Technology (SpeakerCompare). This tool allows you to compare four speakers at a time by listening to their audio output using your home computer speakers, headphones, or earbuds. By using this tool I was able to research the sound of dozens of speakers using their catalog of genre based music (they now have a new feature where you can listen with your own catalog of music) to determine which speaker was right for me. After selecting the speakers and tools I needed, I ordered them with UPS Ground Shipping (Opt Down), which means it will take about a week or so to get my order but by choosing this they'll take $10 off your order. So my order was placed on 10/7 with a 10/15 delivery date. My order was actually delivered on 10/13! There are so many helpful tools and research articles on the Crutchfield website why would anyone go anywhere else!"
