"Finally treated myself to a new turntable! It's my first ever non-fully automatic turntable and first NEW turntable since 1980... whew I'm old! I thought about my purchase and read reviews for nearly a month and had settled on a Pro-ject Debut Carbon when at the last minute a friend brought to my attention that Crutchfield had a Music Hall MMF 2.3 for a great price so everything out the window and I pulled the trigger on the mmf 2.3.
Ordering and delivery went well... Set-up was a little tricky! I unpacked everything and NO owner's manual which I thought a bit strange... there was a Tech support brochure that advertises that Crutchfield has techs ready to help but since it was after hours I was out of luck for that night. The next night I muddled through what I could but was having trouble with the included belts. I was using the wide belt on the 331/3 speed and that does NOT work! I called tech support and felt like the guy attempting to help me was having to hunt for answers as much as I was. I basically ended the conversation saying I'd check out the video on the Crutchfield site. The video on the Crutchfield site is excellent with one BIG EXCEPTION... It was for one of the Pro-Ject turntables NOT the mmf 2.3 The mmf 2.3 has a separate speed control switch that the Pro-ject does not have and therefore only one belt. So I wait till the next day and contact support. This time via internet chat and my mistake I contact billing... oops! No problem though cause the person on the other end offers to take my number and have a Tech call me back! Excellent service there!... and the Tech called me back in minutes! not hours! Not days! So, that was excellent service too! Now, this is when I discover that yes in fact there should have been an owner's manual in the box! The Tech guy remedies this in less than a minute by emailing me a manual. He also verbally answered my questions about which belt, the anti-skate position and counter-weight setting.
After this I was off to the races playing the brand new Nick Lowe w/ Los Straitjackets record followed by a GREAT new record from a band called The Lickerish Quartet that features band members from the old band Jellyfish... a must-have record in my book!

"Cruthcfield provided me a lot of accessibility by showing me what id need to run my new Alpine iLX-w650 in my 2015 Subaru Forester XT w/o navigation but I guess I misunderstood the pat where they noted they'd provide a wiring diagram for install. Its not a wiring diagram, its directions that stop being specific halfway through, so while the main portion of the install has one great and easy my steering wheel controls still don't work because the directions I thought would be present are not and every time I call tech support the queue is always full and it hangs up on me automatically.
Aside from that honestly everything else is great. It got here the NEXT DAY (I was pretty impressed). The products were in pristine condition and wrapped with quality stuff. The price was ABSOLUTELY worth it and even though im having issues with the steering wheel controls I LOVE my radio and how helpful the company has been in guiding me through some parts of it."

"Great customer support. The first screen I ordered was too large. The second one, that I was helped over the phone with for the order, was also just a tad too big for my counsel plate. The installer made it work although he couldn’t use the beauty plate.
