"The Crutchfield team did an awesome job in putting together everything I needed for my amateur DIY install. The instructions from Kenwood could have been a little better but I was able to figure it out. The antenna adapter came with a blue wire that needs to be tied in with the antenna control wire (found that out later).
Stereo pros: touch screen is pretty accurate, camera is good quality, connection to iPhone is easy and fast.
Cons: start up time is a few seconds too long, learning the system was a bit difficult at first.

"Called to get help after installing powered amp in a boat. Power would pulse on for half a second, then fade away. First call, tech advice was about the amp not powering on because of distance from battery and gauge of power wire. Spent hours testing the wires, re-wiring everything, and even moving the battery right next to the amp. Still same issue.
Second call, tech asked if I had it switched to “RCA LINE INPUT” to turn on amp. Said yes. Told me RCA signals typically aren’t strong enough to register with the amp. Try the “switched power source” setting and jump where the switched power line wire attaches with the power connection to test. Can you guess what happened? Turned right on.
Why didn’t the first tech ask me this? It was the same problem with my same description for both calls.
Why isn’t the information about the RCA’s typically not providing enough signal to trigger the power written somewhere or maybe have a card in there stating that. This amp has the switch to do both. Why is it even there?
If I had known to jump the 2 ports to test it, HOURS!!! of crawling around and trying to work in a confined space upside down would have been saved.
Amp sounds good, but the frustration level was just too high. "
"This was my first big order of a full set up including all of the extra devices to control satellite radio, steering wheel controls and everything. I thought it would be a good idea to pay the extra charge to have Crutchfield pre-wire the harness. I’m not so sure that is a great idea because now I had no point of reference attaching the harnesses together and the documentation and instructions were definitely lacking. Also some of the wiring was not connected correctly. I did get assistance and while ultimately we got where we needed to be I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to tech support that seemed less interested in helping. Not rude, just disinterested. My advice would be not to expect it to be straightforward, not to expect tech-support to really care, and not to have them pre-wire it so that you can see and understand the wiring as you put it together. "

"I wanted a little better sound experience in my class c motorhome cab, but didn’t want to spend a ton. I got a very nice double din touch screen stereo and upgraded speakers. The amazing thing to me was the detailed instructions on how to dissembled the dash, which included dropping the whole steering column. Following crutchfield directions it practically fell apart. No hunting around for that last fastener. No trial and error. Allowed me to avoid installation cost and spend more on the my new hardware. Highly recommend!"
