I don't have a shop, so I don't buy in quantities, but everything I have from this designer is absolutely lovely. I have a hard time believing that he has ever sold a canvas or pattern that wasn't first rate quality."
"First let me say I love Curtis' handpainted canvases. However my one and only experience with purchasing one of his canvases was absolutely awful. I ordered his canvas through a needlework shop and the first canvas took about 3-4 weeks to arrive there. The canvas only had about 1" above the top of the design, terrible for framing. The shop sent it back then it took 2 more months to receive another one. After being given promises of sent item and bogus tracking numbers. After contacting Needlepoint Now magazine and paypal, another arrived with the same canvas shortage on the bottom! Terrible customer service, no real communication from him. I ended up emailing him, contacting him on Facebook (I am now blocked so I cant see him) and contacting Needlepoint Now (from whom I heard nothing either. The experience was so bad I'm not sure I want to stitch it now as I will remember it every time I look at the canvas. I am going to give it time."
