"We purchased 2 reclining club chairs through Cymax Ebay store.
They were promptly shipped and both cartons arrived in perfect condition from FedEx.
The chairs went together with ease, but it was not until one of them was finished that we noticed the backrest was bowed inward. I removed it and noticed it was an inside support in the backrest that was bent.
We took several pictures and sent all the information and files to Cymax customer support.
A week later we received an email confirming receiving our complaint and pictures and they were working with the supplier to get us a replacement.
That was 2 weeks ago.
Early last week they requested more details about part numbers of the chair as well number and labels on the packages and we sent them more pictures as they requested.
We even sent copies of the assembly manual showing the back rest and indicating the point of damage.
Considering the good condition of the boxes we suspect the backrest was either assembled with a damaged part or it had been damaged prior to shipment. Of course, that's not our call.
Today, (Feb 3, 2015) we received another 'thank you for the pictures' email saying we should have an updated for you soon.
This seems to be taking a little longer than we anticipated from the first response to our claim,
So we are willing to update/revise our rating depending on what happens in the near future.

UPDATE: We just received an email that CYMAX is in the process of shipping our replacement.
