"I purchased a bed and bedside table from Cymax and have been very pleased with both. Prior to purchasing these, I had read the online reviews of the products which proved to be true. The assembly directions for the South Shore products were truly easy to follow with each part numbered and clear pictures on how to assemble. The furniture is sturdy and looks very nice. Overall, a success! My experience with Cymax itself was fine as well. I had never heard of the company and felt like I was taking a risk in ordering. It all came immediately and with no issues whatsoever. I would not hesitate to order from Cymax again."

"Horrible return policy - I purchased a piece of furniture and it was too small so I wanted to return it. Found out that there is a 30% restocking fee. So with the restocking fee and return shipping will be be getting about 1/2 what I paid back.

I will never use this website again - this is outrageous. If they are going to charge a huge restocking fee - it should be clearly stated with the item - you should not have to call Cymax to get information on what the restocking fee is.

10/25/14 - after writing this review I was contacted by a rep from Cymax to see what could be done to satisfy my concerns. The rep was great - he waived the restocking fee (since I had only opened one box that had baskets in it). He also worked with me on the return shipping cost through FedEx.

After working with this customer service rep, my overall impression of Cymax has improved considerably and I would consider buying from them again in the future. I did learn some valuable lessons with this experience about checking on re-stocking fees. The 30% quoted originally was incorrect."

"I've ordered Lifestyle Solutions Zurich 4 Piece Bedroom Set in Cappuccino on August 28, 2014. Almost a month later got it delivered on September 24, 2014. The problem is that they delivered a bed that they can't assemble because 1 box with side rails were missing from the beginning. My question why you deliver a furniture set with missing parts that you can't assemble, but charge money for it anyway. I've called the company right a way, they promised it's gonna be delivered and assembled next week. Waited a week and called them again, got the same promise "you'll get it next week, we'll put it high priority". Called them today had to wait 30 mins and surprised - that item I've been waiting for two weeks already is on back order and will be available for shipment on or after October 30, 2014. So the earliest I'll get it first or second week in November. Meanwhile I've been charged for the furniture I'm not able to use for month and a half. I'm considering this practice by Cymax Stores unacceptable, customer service people dishonest. People when placing an order with Cymax Stores be prepared to be charged for the item and not receive it on time, wait month or more till you'll be able to use it."
