"Ordered an Athlon XP 2600+ processor from them, recieved it in poor packaging, a little blue piece of plastic. Several pins were bent. Bent them back but processor was DOA. Took me too long to figure out what was the problem, and their short warranty period ran out before I narrowed down the problem to the processor."
"I ordered 256MB PC100 ECC SDRAM. They shipped 256MB Registered SDRAM.
When I explained their error to their Representative, he gave me a Micron Part Number, asked me if it would work in my system, and said that he would ship it, if it would.
It is not the buyer's responsibility to make sure that a seller delivers what is advertised and ordered. That responsibility belongs to the seller.
Since they already had my cash and I needed the product, I asked him to describe the module. He said that it had nine IC's and the label said ECC, CL2. When asked if there were any IC's at the bottom of the module, he said no. Since it sounded like the right product, I agreed to have them send it.
The module I received also had three Buffer IC's at the bottom, which made it Registered.
I sent them both back and finally received a refund, minus the shipping charges. They claim that it's my fault that the second module was shipped in error, and, as a result, would not refund those charges.
Since I doucmented everything, my credit card company is in the process of charging back the $11.00 in shipping charges.
Apparently, this merchant has some serious problems. If I had read the reviews here at ResellerRatings, I would never have purchased from them. I will always do so in the future. "
This order was approved, then cancelled without any reason, nor any email justifying the reason why. My credit card is WAY UNDER it's limit and paid in time. A company that can't provide what they offer and gives no explanation of why that happened, deserves no respect or trust from anyone. They have my credit card number and I can't even have what I requested. I did let them know by a very unpleasant note, then I even got no reply at all.
Can't be trusted. Stay Away from this place."
"Ordered SDRAM for two older computers. Memory died, and computer would not boot, within 36 hours of installation. Replaced with PNY brand and now running without problems. Defective memory seems to be common with this firm.
I returned the defective merchandise at my own expense. While I did get a refund, the most galling part of the transaction was that I was charged a "restocking fee" of 15% on bad, non-restockable items. I would never order from this business again!"
"These folks sent me defective memory and refused to refund my money after a phone calls and a number of e-mails.
Phone rep was not knowledgable about the product. He kept talking about one particular spec without knowing what it was.
E-mails were not replied to promptly. I had to threaten legal action to get a reply to the last e-mail which was more than two weeks old.
Still waiting for satisfaction after more than two months of waiting."
"Delivery from time of order was 9 days, inside of their stated 2 week window. I requested no heat spreaders (confirmed on my recipt) however they were put on anyway. "
"LIARS AND THIEVES....SUBSTITUTED GENERIC DDR FOR "SAMSUNG OR MAJOR BRAND DDR" THAT I PAID EXTRA FOR....DIMM FAILED AFTER A MONTH...GOT AN RMA AND SENT IT BACK....THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO MY STATUS EMAILS SO I FINALLY CALLED THEM ONLY TO FIND THAT THEY LIED AND SAID THE DIMM WAS FUNCTIONAL AND CHARGED ME A 15% RESTOCKING FEE.
JUST ANOTHER CROOKED ASIAN GANG OUT OF CALIFORNIA CHEATING THE REST OF US WITH PRICEWATCH FRAUD!!!"
"I purchased "Major Name Brand 266 DDR" I received a working 266 DDR module 4 business days later with their free shipping. It looks like "House brand" to me. There are no labels that are typically associated with major manufactures. It was shipped in a bubble paper envelope and could have been damaged easily. I guess I lucked out. I would recommend going elsewhere. "
"I ordered 2 DIMMs (with pre-test, to guarantee "No DOA") for my one computer. When they arrived, one didn't work, so I asked that I get pre-paid shipping for the return since it was supposed to be not DOA. It was about a week after they responded, not directly to my request, but with a general "For all returns fill out this form..yada yada yada". So I did. 1 Week later, they say that the part works and that it was just incompatible and that because of this, they are not at fault. It seems they have forgotten that I paid for two DIMMs, and since one did work, it was THEY who sent me an incompatible DIMM (and not me who chose an incompatible DIMM to begin with). Now they are trying to argue that I will get refunded, minus a 15% restocking fee, and only for the Market price it is worth now. 2 months has passed (since I first purchased this), and I have not been refunded yet. Horrible service; incompetent Purchase Order department. I originally wanted a replacement, but after the initial one week delay just to respond to my first request, I said screw it, I'll get a refund. Not worth all this trouble; "Buy from someone else" is my advice to everyone. stay away from DCCSALES.COM!!!!"
"I ordered pc-2100 ddr266, it come in 3 days. That was quick, it didn't work. I called and shipped it back and I had a good one a week later with no hassiles. I know you get a bad part every once in a while, but they took care of it quick and added a heatsink with the new one.All is OK."
"I paid $20.00 for 2nd day air. I needed this product on the 7th. Today is the 8th. I still have not received this product. I placed the order by 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday a.m.(the 5th), so, by my calculations, it should have arrived on the 7th - two days later, as they promised. Apparently, they sent it regular UPS! "
"I ordered 2 Samsung Major Brand PC3200 400MHZ 256MB modules. It took over a week to arrive from CA to WA. When I installed the item, the computer said it was only 266MHZ ram and when I tried to overclock it, my system wouldn't run. I called them and asked and they said that the DIMMs are overclockable and I said, why did you advertize something that is not truely PC3200. They are full of false marketing schemes and should not be a part of YAHOO. When I asked to return the product, they said I had to pay for shipping and they will charge 15% to restock if the chip is not defective although I received the wrong item...something I didn't order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I'M TAKING THIS FURTHER AND REPORTING THEM TO THE CALIFORNIA BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. "
"I took a chance as the free shipping does not include tracking. Bought 2 - 256 ddr2100 from DCCSALES.com. I was notified the day after the order that it was shipped and it arrived 8 days later, exactly as ordered. If it works I will update, but for now I'm happy."
"The merchant is using fraudulent advertising to gain customers. I ordered memory for my laptop and received a completely incorrect module. After calmly explaining my situation, I was ordered to pay for the shipping charges when I was not at fault in the first place. I requested a refund, and was told there would be a 15% restocking fee on an item that was incorrect in the first place.
This merchant should not be in business with Yahoo. They use fraudulent advertising to con customers into believing that they are receiving a good deal, when in fact they are receiving something completely incompatible with your hardware.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS FRAUDULENT MERCHANT - YOU WILL REGRET IT."
