"My lamp lasted only 10 mos, have been trying to reach them using the 1-800 # on my credit card billing it isnt even the same name. The e-mail info has stated store closed for repairs will be up in 15 min to 1 hour. That was two days ago, obviously hiding from their customers and responsibilities. BUYER BE WARE delet them ASAP"

"I ordered a lamp from Lamp Xpress in December of 2010. My original order went quite smoothly however the lamp only last about 9 months. When I inquired about a warranty I noticed they do not have a phone number to contact them (problem #1). I then inquired via email and did receive a response within 2 days. I sent back the required form and lamp that very day but since then; nothing. Its been over two weeks now and they don't reply to emails and there is no other way to contact them. I will update my review if they ever do replace the lamp or reply to my messages.
*Update* Still no replacement bulb. After threatening to get a lawyer they replied on October 11th and said they "were going through the warranty bulbs and would send out tonight or tomorrow". After no bulb and further inquiries I got the same exact email on 10/28. After no bulb and further inquiries I got a reply saying they were waiting on the bulbs becasue they were on back order. Obviously I'm not going to get a replacement at this point but I'm finding some comfort in harrassing this thief with everyday emails.

After 2 emails several days later inquiring whereabouts of product,received no reply.8 days later my lamp arrived no housing.On 6/29 I receive an email and they state they will send me a RMA so I can send back the lamp.By the time I receive what I ordered(if they send it)3-4 weeks will have passed without my TV working.Use this company at your peril!!"

"On 05/28/2011 I purchased a lamp from DLP Lamp Xpress for $114.99 and received a confirmation e-mail about my purchase. There website states my order is processing, while they have received my $114.99 the same day I ordered the lamp via credit card. I assumed the problem was the lamp may be on back order but I do not know as they will not respond to my inquires. I have tried for 7 days now to contact them about my order both by there listed phone number and the contact e-mail.

I fear at this point I may be the victim of fraud.
I will gladly amend this review if I could get a response from them and received a refund or the lamp I purchased.

As I have been unable to make contact with anyone at DLP lamp Xpress I have disputed the charge on my credit card for failure to deliver the lamp and I got my money back. I HIGHLY suggest you avoid this company.

Update 7-1-2011
They finally shipped the lamp and I had to endure a 45 minute conference call with the credit card company about the back charge. They will not accept the lamp if I return it. It would appear this company would rather sue there customers than talk to them.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.
THIS COMPANY HAS AN ABSOLUTE DISDAIN FOR ITS OWN CUSTOMERS."

"The order did ship right away as promised. But you have to read all the fine print carefully. The lamp housing they sent was not new, it was recycled, and this makes their prices not that great. I feel completely fooled. I didn't even get a chance to test the lamp yet, will be really upset if that doesn't work. "
