"Ordered from this owner now doing business as AisleBuyAisle.com. Hopefully these reviews will save someone the stress and related BS I and others have been through. They charged my credit card on 12/15. On 12/22 I called to find out where my order was. They didn't answer (I later found out the NEVER answer). I contacted them through their online live chat. They assured me it had shipped but couldn't provide with the tracking # "yet". I asked them if it was shipping that day and if so could they ship it overnight or 2nd day so it would arrive by Christmas. They said it had already shipped and should arrive by christmas. I later got the tracking # that showed it had been shipped that day by UPs ground - from California to Ga and would NOT arrive by Christmas. When i finally did get the order on 12/30, half of it was missing. To date, I still have not received a refund for the remaining half of the order nor my remaining item. They routinely disconnect the live feed if you say anything they don't like. Please -do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, away from any dealings with this company or its owners. "
"Just an update, and a warning to others, that this company (which no longer exists as D-Compute) is now operating (and continuing to scam people) as YourUplink.com. Look at the WHOIS record to see that it is the same people (Durran and Sonya Felton) operating at the same address in West Covina, CA, just under a different company name.
I recently made a $200 purchase through their site, after first calling to verify that the item was in stock, and was even assured the item would ship in the next day or 2. Over a week later, and the item still had not shipped. I attempted to call to get a status, but the telephone numbers are disconnected! Only then did I begin to research and discover that this company existed before as D-Compute and are thieves.
I have requested ResellerRatings.com add YourUplink.com into their database so that I can post this experience and warn others of these people who make a living scamming others on the internet."
"These people are indeed crooks. If you want to see their faces go to their family website.
http://thefeltons.net/
They took me for $486 on an xbox 360. I did a chargeback 3 months later. Their website above has been changed. Previously, it said they were running the business right out of their house. They didn't even have inventory.
Kimberly, I suggest you call the West Covina, CA police and press charges on D-compute or Durran Felton. "
"Unfortunately, this business is no longer viable, however, I would like an opportunity to detail what happened. These people are nothing short of criminals. My son has "Special Needs" and functions at about a sixth grade level. He is an avid gamer. In the height of the X-Box craze, he found this company on the internet, sent them an UNSIGNED check for $450.58. The check was cashed and the X-Box was not received. It is absolutely dispicable that they would take advantage of someone else's disadvantage.
An Outraged Mother,
Kimberly Meier Wachter"
"On 11/22/05, I ordered a fairly expensive graphics card (which was sold out everywhere else on the internet); website claimed "order processing" for weeks with no delivery; finally I e-mailed my intent to cancel the order (in December now); no response, no answer when phoning them many times. Finally, in response to my annoyed telephone message, they send an e-mail on 12/13/05 acknowledging cancellation of order and promising a refund within "10-12 business days". It is now 1/17/06 with still no refund (all while I pay interest/finance charges on this item). I looked online to see how they were rated and was shocked to find many others in the same boat--all victims of the runaround. If only I knew before throwing my money away... It's clear from the fact that they advertise discontinued/sold-out items, charge your card the same day for a non-stocked item, never answer their telephones, and give you a great deal of runaround that these people are not in business to keep customers. Avoid them like the plague!!!!"
"I placed an order with D-Compute for a somewhat hard to find item. They had a good price, and claimed (via a discussion with their online chat) to have plenty of stock. They hit my credit card immediately and then gave me the royal run-around for weeks about why they couldn't ship it. I'm convinced that they never had it. Now they're telling me it will take several weeks to process a refund to my credit card. My personal suggestion is to avoid D-Compute, LLC."
"I thought I ordered an Xbox 360 from them on their website 12/7/2005 and payed using Paypal. The site said it was in-stock when I ordered. I called customer service an hour later to confirm it was going to be shipped. They told me the item I ordered was only a pre-order due to arrive FEB 2006. I immediately canceled the order on the phone.
When I canceled, I asked about getting a refund and they told me they haven't accepted the payment from Paypal and wouldn't have to worry about getting charged.
I checked them on this website later and I was worried. I left numerous voice mail messages to accounting and emails telling them to do a Paypal refund or make sure they don't accept the Paypal payment. I also requested they contact me. I have had no response to this day.
12/11/2005 - the payment for the cancelled order posted to my credit card. $482 for nothing I will ever get. I checked my order that day on their website and it shows cancelled. WTF.
I immediately filed a Paypal claim and the seller still hasn't responded. Their website says allow up to 10-12 business days to receive a refund. That is BS. I called Paypal and they said the seller can refund me anytime and it will post to my credit card.
Avoid this vendor at all costs. Do not believe anything they have on their website is in stock. You are taking a big risk giving your money to them. They charged me for a cancelled order and had false information on their website when I ordered an Xbox 360. This is beyond non-receipt of a product.
It is 12/16/2005 and I am still waiting for a refund. I will update when and if I get it.
1/30/2005 - The crooks still haven't refunded my money. I call them and they say they are handling it. They even laughed at me once and forwarded me to voicemail when I asked to speak to someone in accounting. I filed a complaint to Better Business Bureau and it did no good. Please file a complaint to the Federal Trade Commision at http://www.ftc.gov/ just so they know how D-Compute operates. They do not deserve to be in business."

"I ordered an item which was a kit - multiple items which were also sold individually, but packaged (by the manufacturer) as one item. Their price was excellent (in retrospect, probably a little TOO good.) It took them far longer than it should have to ship the item and when I received it, it was not the entire kit, but only ONE of the items in the kit - and even that was incomplete. I looked at the packing slip to see if some of the components had been backordered - they had modified my order to reflect this one individual item! I then went on line and looked up my order - they had changed it there, too. Before jumping to conclusions (maybe it was my mistake), I checked the order confirmation (I always print them out and save them until I receive the item.) There it was - on paper - I had ordered the entire kit. After multiple threatening e-mails, they agreed to refund my money - including shipping. But when I contacted them subsequently to find out how I was supposed to ship it, they told me that I had to pay for shipping! Even though I had a previous e-mail that said I did not! Three months have gone by and this is still unresolved - I still have the (incomplete) item they sent me, they still have my money, and I'm still trying to get them to fix this. Steer far, far clear of these crooks!"
