"D&D Security Products tricked me out of a lot of money. I was sent a defective (and pricey) security alarm and when I returned the item I received no refund and was charged additional return mail fee (which I had already paid myself). I called and was told that the item was not received. When asked why then I was 'mistakenly' charged return postage I was cut off. Later was told the item was not defective and should not have been returned... click. (They mysteriously had no record of my invoice)
I don't understand this weird business ethic and am very wary of ever ordering anything on line. "
"Purchased two items from this company. Each item has a shelf life date. To my surprise each item I was received from D&D Security [In March 2004] has factory labels that shows they expire in August 2004. That means the items are good for five months! These items should be good for at least two years or more. I emailed my dissatisfaction to D&D’s customer service and did not receive a prompt reply. They do not provide a contact telephone number. There are many reputable resellers out there who treat their customers better. They deserve and earn our business on a daily basis.
Follow-up 03/15/04 8:10 PM. In all fairness I received an email this evening and they informed me I could return the items for a full refund. An RMA number was provided. "
"This company sent me a defective item then charged me shipping (both ways) &a whopping 25% restocking fee then claimed that the item I returned was not defective. I've been ripped off and am very mistrustful of this company."
"D&D Security Products is a "Fraud Operation", web address www.ddsp.com, "Bait and Switch" is the game they are playing. Telko Motion Detectors offered for sale on their web site in June 2003, ordered and paid for, were not shipped to me. What I did receive were 4 cheap looking MA70 Motion Alarms which did not have the "Features and Functions" of the Telko Alarms. Since I had no use for the cheap looking merchandise which I had received, I returned the MA70 Alarms to D&D Security Products and demanded the return of my money. D&D Security Products claimed I had not ordered Telko Alarms and refused to return my money. If this is not "Mail Order Fraud" I don'nt know what is.
I have since reported the "Fraud" to the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center and the Federal Tade Commission, I have also sent Documentation of the "Fraud" to the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau.
