Charged my Debit card over $1k

"I received a box from Daily Look, kept it for the normal five days or so, and tried to go on the website to return and pay for the one item I was keeping. The page kept refreshing, but after several tries it looked like it went through. But the next day my debit card was charged over $1000 For the entire box!

I called them and told them the site wasn’t working and that the box was being returned, the guy said if I could email him the return receipt he would then look into processing it. He couldn’t tell me how many days that would take and I was frustrated. My bank account had been depleted so much. I told him I wanted to go ahead and cancel my account because I couldn’t take the chance it would happen again, and he told me that “In that case, when you send me the return receipt, I’ll give you a partial return of half. And the rest would have to wait until the box was received and processed, which will take a little longer."
Unbelievable, that a company of that size would just hold onto people's money when people need it.

THEY HAVE STOLEN $1000+ FROM ME - ZERO STARS

"THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST SUBSCRIPTION EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE.

I canceled my account after receiving my first box. The box arrived quite late, the styling was terrible, the pricing was outrageous, and I was just all around disappointed.

I proceed to get charge another styling fee the following month - I thought that's annoying, but likely a system auto-set up so I reached out and they were able 2 help me after a long and painful process to get someone to respond. They confirmed my account was canceled and it would not happen again.

3 months later, I am charged AGAIN for a styling fee. I immediately follow up confirming I had canceled my account. They refunded me.

another month later and I am charged $1,100 for a box I never received or asked for. I have been in constant dispute with the customer service team to rectify this and it has been like PULLING TEETH. I've provided proof of cancellations, fraudulent charges, and am now looking at either eating the cost or figuring out what legal rights I have. A $40 styling fee mistake? I can overlook....but when you charge me $1,000+ for things I 1) never received, and 2) did not enroll in; that's pretty messed up.

The clothes are way overpriced anyways - I promise you this is not worth the headache you'll have 6 months after inevitably cancelling your account. RUNNNNNN!!!!!!

easy to navigate

"Dailylook site is easy to navigate especially for someone who isn't super tech-savvy which makes it convenient for me to subscribe. I also really appreciate that my stylist communicates with me in a timely manner whenever i have questions or concerns. She does a great job at choosing styles that fit my new mom lifestyle but also pieces that push me out of my comfort zone. I usually like 90% of the pieces in my box and I typically get around 8-12 items. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to up their style."

love the styles and quality

"I've really been loving the styles and quality of the clothes sent to me so far. Recently, I asked my stylist to send me more business casual clothes because I just started a new job so I'm excited to see what's in my next box. I wish they would include shoes and accessories into their boxes because I love how they style everything on their instagram page. "

Charged for Styling and never received anything

"I resubscribed to Dailylook after seeing their ads on Facebook. While my prior experience was really hit and miss, I thought that i would give them another try. I signed up in September of 2019, exchanged emails with the stylist and thought I would receive a box in October. No box. Same story in November, December and January, so I gave up. I then realized that my credit card had been charged $40 a month since October for a "Styling Fee", which was pretty amusing since I never received ANYTHING. I tried to call to inquire about what was going on and despite the fact that they are open PST starting at 8:00 am and I was calling after 8:00, the message said that I was calling after normal business hours. I then tried their online chat which opens at 8:00 PST, same story, I received a message back saying that I was trying to reach them after business hours. I then finally, emailed their customer service department and also emailed the stylist. Waiting for a response. If I don't get one, I will file a claim with the BBB.

UPDATE - I finally had someone answer the online chat session. They refunded my money and told me that the stylist put my account "on hold" , because of a question in the "notes" section of my account. NO ONE notified me of the hold, no one can tell me what the discrepancy was in the "notes" section, or why they just keep charging me for styling that was never actually done. They did ask if I wanted to continue my subscription, I responded no. What is unfortunate is that I wanted to do this subscription, but I have no confidence in the service anymore. Sad.

convenient and trendy

"I first heard of Dailylook after seeing one of their ads pop up on my Facebook. The video featured super cute pieces that looked on trend while still looking pretty conservative. I never thought I'd be one of the moms to join a subscription box service but I'm so glad I did! Don't get me wrong, I still love shopping for myself at the mall but I like that my box is always curated towards my style and I don't have to go searching far and wide for what I'm looking for. Very convenient as well because it's sent straight to my house where I can try all my pieces on. "

Not impressed yet and haven't even rec'd my box

"I signed up on 1/10, filled out the profile on 1/11, received a preview on 1/21, it's 1/27 and I had to follow up today as to where my box since it stated I would receive it today. Expected delivery of 1/31. That's 21 days since I was charged and will receive the box.
Additionally my profile was specific on things I did not want or need: no sleeveless, no pants and no activewear. My preview box included yoga pants, 2 pairs of pants and 3 sleeveless tops. The profile clearly was not read. I will see how this box is and most likely cancel. I chose this specifically as it touts their stylists pay attention and are full time - mine clearly does not fit this description.

very convenient service

"For my new years resolution, I told myself I would finally refresh my wardrobe. I absolutely hate shopping so I decided to try Dailylook's subscription service since it offers hand picked pieces from my very own stylist. So far, I've received 2 boxes and I'm quite enjoying it! It's very convenient because everything is sent to my house in one box and whatever I don't like, I can return back to them free of charge. "

STAY AWAY- ZERO STARS!

"Read the reviews before purchasing. There is a reason their reviews are so low. They are liars and deceiving as an organization. They let you place an order thinking a discount code worked and then charge you full price. They also charge over 45% of items original pricing. You can find the same items/brands for cheaper elsewhere. They also sent me summer clothes- it's 50 degrees where I live, why would I want summer clothes right now. And when I asked for a new stylist, I never received one. This company should be put out of business for the unethical practices they have. "

Poor quality, difficult to cancel

"I was profoundly disappointed in the quality and style of clothing sent. The horrible part was that it advertised easy cancellation on line. After clicking through 4 screens, it requires you to call to cancel. And I’ve had trouble getting through. Reminds me why I never will do clothing subscriptions again"

2 boxes so far

"Pretty much have had this for 2 months so far. I haven't had any issues with the service or their customer service. Few things to think about:
my stylist basically recommended I add in feedback because it's helpful so I try to be detailed where I can, when I'm bored I favorite my looks a lot because from what it looks like they add stuff to their website every once in a while (it helps that my stylist lets me know when) and Ive also updated my profile once since I've opened the account.

Stylist **** and sent winter clothes in summer.

"First of all they give you 4 hrs to preview your stylists picks and like to send the email at 6 am. So most of us will miss ever telling the stylist feedback before they ship items. It's hot as hell and they sent me Jean's, heavy **** suede and a box of basically winter clothes. I said I wear mostly black and needed to introduce color, yet everything in my box is black or navy. This is the worst! I'm not even willing to try the terrible clothes they sent on. Cancelling and trying another service for sure! "
