2. Since we don't have USPS home delivery in my town, when I am not sure which method the store will ship I include a PO Box for USPS shipment and a street address for Fedex/UPS. Fedex delivered to my Post Office so the street address was not transmitted to them or they ignored it."
"I completed my purchase/checkout with the assumption that my order would be processed and shipped out in an expedient manner.
I was reminded that somewhere on the website there is a disclaimer/reminder that "special order items" would take up to 10 days to reach Dale Audio (at which point in time they would ship to me). I somehow missed that disclaimer -which I have to assume responsibility for. I suspect that the disclaimer is small for that reason though. Had it been in big font that my order would take 2 weeks to 2 months to arrive I would have never made the purchase.
One of the items I ordered was on back order and wouldn't arrive until Mid-October (it is now Mid-August).
While it is my responsibility to read the small print I thought it was pretty lousy to sell items without either having them in stock or at least having a good working relationship with a distributor/manufacturer so as to deliver them quicker then 2-3 weeks let alone 2 months.
I was able to get the same exact order delivered to my house by an online competitor in under 1 week.
I will say that my request for a refund was processed quickly and with courtesy. I just don't think anyone would pay full price to wait 2 months for an item, especially something as mundane as microphone boom equipment."
