I was not pleased to find that the Male XLR to Male Pheonix adaptor I ordered ended up being a Female to Female adaptor instead.
After calling Tim Brown, and confirming that I had indeed ordered male to male.... and after he did a search in the warehouse.... Tim let me know that the boxes on the shelf had been put in the wrong positions, and indeed they had posted the wrong item at first.

A very helpful man named John with Dale Pro Audio suggested that I try the Sennheiser HDVD 800 and if the problem is fixed return the Grace. He was right. The issue John was right on was that these headphones are difficult to drive and many headphone amplifiers don't have the power needed. The result a harshness in the upper frequencies.

"My item was out of stock. I was called and told another certified dealer would be shipping my product with the same delivery date. I was very impressed with the customer service. Product (Rode NT-USB Mic) arrived on time and in great condition.

"I did receive both the items. But on checking I found the following problems
1. Item with S/n - 432-13441 - 2 channels were getting distorted - on opening found 4 capacitors 47mfd 100V were swollen.
2. 1. Item with S/n - 423-13364 - 3 channels were getting distorted - on opening found 6 capacitors 47mfd 100V were swollen.
This should have been checked before dispatch.
Now I really don't know what is to be done. To courier the items back is going to be expensive.
Please let me have your suggestion.

On receipt of the above message, Dale Pro Audio contacted me and arranged to reimburse the cost of the defective parts & service charges. This worked out cheaper than returning the items and they re-sending the same back to India. This workaround was really wonderful. I am humbled by this act of theirs. Please keep up this culture."
