Great Customer Service

"My experience was magnificent. I ordered a pair of shoes in red. When delivered- they were black despite the invoice listing my correct prefer of red shoes. When contacted- the company sent me the correct color. Without extra charge or requiring the return of the black pair. THANK-YOU!! Very few online vendors would correct their mistake so swiftly and without any inconvenience to me. I do not know why this site has such poor reviews- I suppose the dissatisfied have more time to post negative reviews. "

poor customer service

"wouldn’t rely on sizing of their products. bought 3 pairs of XXL stirrup tights Capezio hold & stretch & they were extremely tight & uncomfortable on both my daughters who are a size 10-12.
rang the store & Alison told me that they were meant to be very tight.
i’ve bought other brand tights in the past - they fitted fine so just beware as hosiery cannot be exchanged or refunded.
feel it’s unfair considering the sizing is incorrect & therefore deceiving.
i’m not happy with this company’s response so don’t plan to make any more purchases.
very disappointing indeed

"I am not happy that one pair of the shoes I ordered showed obvious signs of wear on the soles. I didn't pay for used shoes. If I didn't need them now, I would be returning them."

Amanda is a lazy, rude and dishonest customer representative

"I bought a pair of shoes from them and they were sent to Portugal. I did not receive them so I ask them to request USPS to initiate an investigation. Amanda claimed she did, but she probably did not. The USPS tracking website said my parcel was held at customs, and Amanda basically repeated the same thing to me. She did not know USPS did not update the status after it was in Portugal, but the Portugal post office did. In fact, the website of Portugal post office had updated the status to "Item cleared" by customs. If she really talked to USPS, she would know the parcel had been released by customs. I asked for the record of the USPS investigation, she could not provide it to me. I asked her why she did not know the parcel was cleared by the customs, she had no answer. When I asked for a refund, she repeated the words "too much time" many time and hung up the phone. How rude she was! This is what happens when a customer representative lies to her customer and cannot response in a meaningful way! "

"Do NOT buy from this retailer. I recently purchased a mens dance shoe from them and they sent me a woman's shoe. When I called to complain, they told me that I could return the shoe to them AT MY EXPENSE. Their customer service representatives were too rude, to unprofessional, too inflexible, and too short-sighted to understand why a customer would not want to be charged for fixing their mistake. I would not recommend that anyone purchase from them. There are retailers out there who respect their customers. DanceStore.com unfortunately is not one of them."

"I received an email notifying me that my order had shipped but it was missing a tracking number. Since the package was slow in arriving, I emailed DanceStore.com for the tracking number; I received a very prompt reply. Coincidentally my order arrived that day. I ordered two black 'Cheer' bags, one with blue trim and the other with red. The bottom and outside pockets gussets are larger than I expected, but that's okay since there's no additional outside pockets. The bags will suit my purpose: nice enough to carry into a night club, large enough to hold two pairs of dance shoes and assorted paraphernalia (such as ear plugs and a small towel), and not attractive to iPad thieves. (My last bag had too much potential: a thief busted the right side passenger window and swiped the bag off the back seat. A real bummer since my favorite pair of dance shoes were in the bag, and those shoes are no longer made. I thought about the pink tutu bag, but my SO nixed that idea.)"

"I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on the 4th December and received them in Australia on the 12th December!!! I'm amazed at the swift timeframe in which they were delivered....The shoes are perfect! (but then we knew it would be) as we have ordered a few pairs from you before...I have recommended you to many of my dance buddies and so far everyone has been extremely happy with their purchases!!! "Much to my excitment my Indigo Mary Jane's arrived safe and sound this week, having swiftly travelled all the way to New Zealand. Best of all they fit perfectly. Buying them online was easy peasy - the extra info on trial fittings and tips regarding narrow feet, idiosyncratic sizing etc was really useful. The only tricky thing was choosing a style. Now that I know the system works, and the shoe fits, I've ordered another pair!"
