In my case, it was $13. I called today and spoke to customer service and was told my item is being sent back to me because the box was destroyed and they couldn’t put the item back on the shelf. So because the box was destroyed during shipping, they will not accept my return? I will never order from them again nor will I recommend this company. "
"For the 3rd year, I bought 3 leotards for my granddaughter for Christmas. She tried them on Christmas morning for a MINUTE. Two of them were too small so I paid to send them back for a larger size. They said they had an odor and refused to replace them. They sent them back to me. There was NO odor. My granddaughter had to give them away. I will NEVER AGAIN buy from these people. "

"This place is ridiculous!! I will not order from them ever again. I ordered a pair of dance pants for my daughter and they were to small. I order the size she wear. in jeans 4-6. I reordered them in a larger size. I called about returning the smalls and they said I had to pay to have them shipped back to them. The lady told me I would get a full refund. The lady lied. I had to pay almost $10 to ship them back and the did not refund me my full amount back. I paid for the pants, tax, and shipping. It came out to be $39.53. They only refund me $28.94. This place is so unfair and liers. The lady had the audacity to say to me you should of ordered the right size. I was like I did, but not my fault your stuff is smaller than the actual size. I even looked at the size guide."
"I bought from them twice and sent both back. The first time they said "Look from the back they are loose." Then they changed the photo and I tried again. I got the same loose fitting clown pants the 2nd time. I ordered dance Jazz pants with a boot cut. Neither of the 2 times where they what I ordered. I got fooled! Do not buy pants from this company, unless you are going for a baggy pant look."
"I bought a blouson for my daughter; it was so big for her. I requested to return it and send it back. A few weeks later, I received the same blouson, with a note that the return was not accepted because it was worn or had perfume on. My girl never wears it; in fact, it was returned faster. I am very disappointed because they only give excuses not to accept the merchandise back. Save your money and do not buy from this company. In addition the quality of the blouson is very cheap. "

"We ordered a costume through Amazon with Dancewear solutions as the seller and the item was fulfilled by them. Rather than the adult small we ordered we got a child small. We called both Amazon and dqncewear solutions who both promised us if we ordered again or exchanged we would get the correct thing. I avoid the delay with an exchange we ordered again and not surprisingly we got another child small. My husband spent almost all day today on the phone with these people. We just need the correct size costume for my daughter to have in the next week. We went through so many individuals, they didn’t have the size we needed, someone else told us they couldn’t do anything, there was nothing in their policy to help. We talked to 1 helpful person named Lucas but he left for the night. At 7 pm the “supervisor” told us we were “threatening her” and disconnected the line. Coincidentally at the exact time that they closed for the night. We have multiple dancers, this has been a nightmare, we just need the correct size (which they don’t have the right size but we let them know we would settle for a size 1 size too small to make it work. They are unwilling to do ANYTHING to help us. They kept passing us to Amazon and Amazon kept passing us to them. Ultimately this is not an Amazon problem, these folks are. In a dance community where costumes are difficult to get I would assume a company that specializes in this would do what they could to resolve an issue. They kept telling us to exchange through Amazon, or reorder through Amazon. Why? So we could get the wrong size again? I expect someone to call us back who can and will actually help us. We are not asking for much, just a costume that my kid can wear in a week to compete in. The mistake is clearly on your side and the resolution is also clearly on your side."
"Post office said my order was delivered, but never received. I contacted them immediately and the sent another right out. Meanwhile the original came the day after they said it was delivered. Which was actually 2 days earlier then originally was supposed to receive. So when I receive the second one I will send right back. Thank you so much! Great job!"
"I had nothing like previous reviewers' experience. I am writing this at 9:54am, having just received my order placed yesterday 1pm. I needed an item within 2 days for a dance recital (which is tomorrow). I was prepared to pay extra for expedited shipping when I saw in the checkout screen that free ground shipping stated "1-day delivery”, which I was very skeptical about, so I called and was told this was only an estimate based on my location (in an adjacent state), and that processing may take up to 48 hours before the order ships, and I was also warned that due to COVID, shipping may be further delayed. It was recommended that I select expedited shipping to ensure delivery in time, but if I wanted to take a chance with free ground shipping, I could call about an hour after placing my order to let their team know I was hoping to have this order ASAP so they could push it through processing a little quicker, but again, they warned that they couldn’t make any guarantees. It wasn't the end of the world if it didn't arrive in 2 days (we could still use everything after recital), and I didn't want to pay $20 for expedited shipping so I chanced free shipping and called an hour later. Both reps were super nice and helpful. The second confirmed exactly what the first had said. I received tracking notification last evening that my order would arrive this morning, and it did! Everything perfect and exactly as ordered. So happy that everything went better than expected, and we have what we need in time for a stage performance…with a day to spare! Keep in mind that free ground shipping was 1-day for me because I live in a nearby state. Further distances would obviously take longer. But for me, service has been spectacular. Couldn’t be happier. "They advertise their products as tights but they are not. They are nothing more than nylon hosiery. I ordered three pairs and they’re all super thin pantyhose and the first pair had runs in it when I took them out of the package. I contacted customer service for an exchange or refund but they have not responded. Beware. "

"I purchased a custome and 3 wrong costumes arrived by mistake.I am based on england Contacted them as the competition was in 2 days times . Said they would send another out thought I would get for sat comp did not arrive till Monday. Had to hire 2 costumes as it was a duo dance costing me more more also had to pay deposit. They have refunded back my sostume charge and dhl by Visa and my costom charge they gave sent a check . Why a check when I paid by my visa card. Now I have to put the cheque in bank iwhich took 8 days to arrinve in my lunch hour and will take 10 days to clear .Most prob they wI'll do the same with the hire costumes refund. This is appalling . Please please please do not buy from this company as they do not have a good reputation"
"i purchased a costume from Dance ware solutions online ... after 3 weeks, it had not arrived, so I contacted the company. I was told my account had a hold on it because I had a balance due to to them for not authorizing my payment( which is their fault for being inept in collecting funds at the time of purchase)... not my problem. I was told they sent me emails regarding my account. In response, I told them I had no idea of anything owed and had not received a single email.... I
always use a credit card or Paypal... authorization is taken care of by these institutions. If funds are not available( of which mine were) then authorization is not accepted. I went back numerous times with a very rude customer service rep named Jolli who proceeded to tell me that until I paid my mystery balance , that I would not receive my item, ordered any be allowed any further purchases. i was also told they would take me to collection agency... lol.
So, bottom line they messed up. Had they been willing to send reproof that i owed anything, or copies of" said " emails I would have quickly taken care of the situation. Instead, I cancelled my order and will never give my business to Dance Ware solutions again. i will also let as many people know as possible the this is a very shady company and to avoid them at all costs"

I ordered two pairs of shoes according to the size chart neither fit my children so I decided to exchange, they decided to sit on the order and not send it because there was a $3 price difference. No email, no messahe, nothing. I also thought it was funny that I got an order for a dance school in Missouri along with my order (i live in WA) I should have kept that order until i recieved mine. "
