Short version- sent them my HD, they claimed it had a scratched platter and bad read heads. They wanted $2,000 to save my data. Which I could not pay, but we insisted they just mail it back. Finally after weeks of calling, checking up and emailing they mailed it back. I brought it to a local place. It was a ribbon cable on the PCB that had unplugged. They never even looked at my HD and quoted me $2,000. It was a 5 min and $50 fix and all my data is safe.

They advertise a '24 Hour Recovery' service, which I was skeptical about at first- but they must be well-employed with a lot of very skilled technicians, because within 24 hours my computer files were fully recovered and I was 'back in business'. All spreadsheets, word documents, product photos, and product videos that I had lost in the crash were recovered in their original condition. Absolutely NOTHING was lost- and that was mind-blowing to me. I have never worked with a data recovery business that was so efficient in their job and did such quality work.

I now know exactly who I will be contacting when any other piece of technology in my home or office fails me; Data Recoup. They work extremely fast and extremely well, and their representatives are very informative and exhibited fantastic customer service. I'd definitely recommend them for computer file recovery. "
