"WARNING! - This seller is dishonest! I placed an order for electronics, and DealCost sent me an email asking me to call them to "confirm" my order. Then the rep said they had
1) "oversold" and had none in stock AND
2) asked me if I wanted a "new" one as opposed to used, which is what they would have sent
100% misleading in their ad, which claimed it was in stock, new merchandise, with US warranty.

1.) Beat everyone on cost
2.) Easy order process
3.) Customer service dept not in 3rd world country
4.) Unit arrived on time once it shipped

Cons:
1.) Did not include manufacturer warranty which wasn't clear at time of purchase
2.) Had to call to confirm order - which turned into a sales pitch for 3rd party warranty
2.) Never received tracking email or accurate tracking number. Was told shipping department would call me back, but never got a message.
3.) Order took 48 hours to process.

Conclusion: If you're looking for the lowest cost and don't care about manufacturer's warranty dealcost.com is for probably for you."

"Placed an order for a 58" Panasonic vierra Plasma TV, They delivered within 10 days by using a dedicated van, their deliver driver was very polite and helpful and careful with bringing it into the house. By using their van the box the TV came in didn't have a scratch on it. The TV itself works perfect. They were easy to communicate with over the phone and did exactly what they said they would. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future as long as the price is close to the lowest price shown. I would clearly give them a five star rating, more so because out of the several items I have ordered on line, they are the only ones that I had no issues with. In todays world that's impressive."

"I purchased a Yamaha RXV-663 Receiver for my home. I searched and searched on the web and DealCost had the best price by $50 and free shipping. I was a bit skeptical since I only deal with newegg and amazon and occasionally eBay, but I thought that it was worth it since my neighbor across the street bought the same receiver from them and it was perfect. The shipping took a little long, but for free what can you argue about that! I did have to call to "confirm" my order, and was offered a warranty but politely refused and there was no high stress pushiness that normally comes from the NY resellers. i started ordering a canon lens from this site but after putting in my email address and credit card info i googled reviews of the merchant. i didn't like what I saw so i didn't progress to confirm the order and ended up buying the lens from elsewhere.

regardless, i got an e-mail from them saying "please call us to check the status of the order" - i did, and the gentleman said he was out of stock. i immediately 1) asked for the order confirmation notice that they would have produced because i didnt remember confirming the order and 2) expressed my displeasure at the website even allowing me to check out as far as i did considering they didnt have the item in stock.

i still have not received any evidence of the original order, and will be monitoring my credit card vigilantly to make sure nothing untoward happens."

"I ordered a Samsung LN52A850 from DealCost.com on 1/23. I had been doing research on the TV and merchants for several months before I made my purchase.

I located DealCost through a price comparison site. I had never previously heard of this merchant.

I can't say enough good things about my experience. Not only did DealCost offer the lowest price on the TV, but they had a free shipping option and I was fortunate enough not to have to pay sales tax.

DealCost does place a follow up phone call to offer the usual extras (cables, surge protectors, wall mounts, warranty, etc.). When I told the rep I had already purchased those elsewhere, I wasn't subjected to any high pressure sales pitch. There was a mandatory 3% insurance shipping cost (which isn't listed as part of the price; their FAQ page clearly states that this is a mandatory and additional charge), which is half of what I would have paid in sales tax alone if I had purchased the TV locally.

The shipping options ranged from free (for a 14-21 day delivery) all the way up to $249 for 3 day. I opted for free, and was very, very surpised when my TV showed up today, seven days later. Shipping was from Brooklyn, NY to Fargo, ND.

Even with the insurance cost, I have calculated I saved about $670 compared to the local big box store.

Do your research, but don't be afraid of DealCost if you've never heard of them before. I am ecstatic with my overall experience.
