"The item was advertised as new. After purchase of the new item they advertised, they sent me an email stating if I was aware the item ordered was "used, refurbished and may have dents or scratches but works" which was not what was advertised when purchasing the item. Upon cancelling the order based on the new information in the email, the seller Deal Stop got nasty in an email, sent me a fake link to an item they claimed i ordered but was inaccurate, so I sent them the link to the actual item i ordered that was listed as new where it had no description of it being used at all. I got no response. I contacted Amazon and due to buyer reviews where items purchased from DealStop were defective, caught fire and items broke witihin a few months along with warranties not being honored by manufactures when purchased from Deal-Stop, Amazon is now getting them with false advertisement and being an inappropriate seller and will be removed from Amazon. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!"
"i was kind of weary with all these sites selling old parts, wasn't sure who was legit and who was just a scam. I guess you can consider deal-stop safe for now! a friend bought a dell optiplex 280gx or something from a local pc shop and the power supply went out on it a week later, but it was one of those 'its only 50$ so take it or leave it' things. Well, i looked up the PSU on deal-shop and they had plenty in stock. Will check here next time for parts. "
"This was amazing. took me a minute to order an item i have ordered before. The item was here before my coffee cooled off. Thank You I'm going to keep doing this."
"Great price, Great shipping, Great product, couldn't ask for more."
"First time buyer...
I'll be back..."
"Beaware!! Said was new. Received with very ruined package and not working. I paid returned shipping then told me not more replacement. Cannot refund me the shipping cost. I paid shipping for nothing."
"Great Website. Great Prices. Excellent delivery time on my Motherboard. Will definitly use them again."
"Good Company , Good and fast service, Purchased discounted monitor, saved $40, all works great... "
"BEWARE, dishonest business practices; they love to misrepresent their product info to mislead you. They only have refurbished items with no manufacturer warranty. Poor customer service. This company change their address so many times in the last few years, I wonder why..."
"Great shopping experience with Deal-Stop.com. I found a motherboard that I had been looking for and they had the lowest price by $48. I called afterward to confirm and they told me it would be shipped that day (even though I called at 1:00PM I wasnt sure if it would be shipped same day). I got a tracking number at the end of the day and kept track of my motherboard everyday as it was in transit. I was really excited about how well my motherboard was packed. It was new as advertised. I hooked everything up and it worked flawlessly. I was amazed to see how many different motherboards this company carried. If you're looking for computer parts, look no further Deal-Stop.com is the place to go. I'll be shopping with them for years to come."
"I found this company via a Google search for a Fantom 250 GB external hard drive. They had the best price by far and a very reasonable shipping charge of $6. Ordering was very simple. I received an order confirmation email right away and a shipment confirmation email the same day. I was impressed with the speedy shipping process. The drive arrived in 5 days which was within the FedEx ground timeframe.
Unfortunately, the external drive was essentially DOA. It worked for about 2 minutes and then died. I called Deal-Stop the next day to get an RMA number. I got thru right away and spoke to a live person. She explained the RMA process which was a little odd. I was instructed to go to LegendMicro.com to access the RMA form, fill it out and submit the form, then wait for an email RMA number. She explained that they would try to repair the item (since they did not have any other new items in stock) or refund my money. I authorized a repair, if necessary, but I really wanted a new drive. It took 2 days to get the RMA number by email. They do have a 15 day return policy to get the item back to them after receipt of the RMA number which seems reasonable. I sent the drive back via FedEx on 11/3 and it arrived back at Deal-Stop on 11/8. I did not her anything from them after that and assumed the drive was being repaired and returned. On 11/20, I emailed them about the status and got a very quick response that a refund for the full amount minus shipping charges had been made on 11/9/06. This was confirmed by my credit card statement.
Even though the drive was defective, I would probably deal with this company again. They refunded my money without a hassle, and even though I lost out on shipping both ways, that is the chance you take when dealing with onlne retailers. It was a little confusing figuring out the association between Deal-Stop.com and LegendMicro.com. They must be connected in some way since there is a Deal-Stop.com link on LegenMicro's homepage. It would also have been nice to have received an email letting me know they refunded my money on 11/9. I was waiting for the drive to be returned and hesitated to buy another one from another vendor since I did not need two of them. After I learned of the refund, I bought a Western Digital 250 GB My Book Essential external drive from Dell.com. The Wetern Digital drive arrived in 4 days, and has worked flawlessly since then. I should have gone with a more well known brand to begin with."
