"One word, bogus. belive these reviews. The only thing these guys are good at wasting your time. You will get your money back, if you pursue it through other means, but what a hassle the whole of dealing with them is. They claim to close over 30k tranactions a month (yeah, right), and that the hundreds of BBB reports (F grade), and multiple review sites are only a small percentage. How come at least 3 other online electronics retailers that come to mind can all do it with good reviews. Are we to believe DCCA is bigger than any of them? Or just that they can't be bothered with something so trivial as shipping product and customer service. I would sooner trust a vagrant to baby sit my kids than trust DCCA"
"5/13/2010 Ordered a radio (Pioneer DEH-P6200BT) 05/13/2010 and my credit card was charged $188.99. Did not receive the shipping notification in the promised 24-48 hours. Followed up with several emails, and was informed 5/25/2010 that the product was in stock. 06/01/2010 I requested shipping information and called their number and stayed on the line until someone finally picked up the phone (approx. 45 minutes on hold). Was then told that they did not have product, so I canceled my order and received conformation 06/01/2010 that the order was canceled. Was also informed 06/01/2010 that the refund would take 2 business days to process. I have received numerous communications from them promising that the charges will be refunded, but that has not happened.

(Update 7/1/2010)Was able to officially dispute the charges with VISA today, 30 days after receiving cancellation conformation. I called the number for Gold Star Audio and asked for Robert, the name associated with DCCA on the BBB website, and was told that he would return within 1/2 hour. This tells me that he is associated with Gold Star Audio, and is in cahoots with Steven (CEO and an attorney), Michael (President) and Gina (Executive VP).
Seems that Michael and Gina are also associated with 'Ocean Charm' and have an Anaheim business license.
Zillow reports the following on their Newport home.

"I would have to urge other people not to fall for this sham of a business. Ordered my item, Card was charged immediately. A few weeks went buy and I emailed them for an update and was told they would work something out. Next week, the same thing, yadda, yadda...you get the picture right? I then asked for a refund and all the sudden I was told it would ship the next day. Being a month had gone by I declined and demanded a refund. Again another message, saying that they will work something out. Now the refund is turning into just as big of a run-around. Sad that businesses like this can get away with this stuff. I've tried repeatedly to call the number shown in the emails. During business hours it just rings n rings. The only time anyone ever picks up is the after hours recording saying to call back during business hours. Whats up with that?

DCCA states on their website that 95% of the orders shipped within 24-48 hrs and arrive within 3-7 days, but it could take up to 7days. Well,I have placed my order 7 days ago and NOT a word from DCCA. I had to send email to inquire about te status, and got a reply back that I would get an email with tracking # on the 8th day. Well, today is the 8th and still NO shipment confirmation. I am giving DCCA the rest of today to ship my orders. People could have placed an order out of CHina and would receive your order sooner. Totally disappointed with DCCA's slow service and their claim of 95% of shipment made within 24-48 hrs. In my case 100% of order is exceeding promised time. Stay away from this seller if you don't want the headache."
"Looks like I fell for this company too. Should have done my research up front, wish I had seen this website first.
Ordered on-line and specifically asked if the items were in stock, was immediately told "yes". After many days I asked if the items were shipped, the answer was they were being "processed". At that point I canceled and requested my money back. I have never dealt with a company that charged the credit card before they shipped.

"Long story short, I got my product 2 and a half months later. A back order and many delays involving communication made it a not so good experience.
Instead of using emails and not getting very far, after 35 minutes on hold I spoke to someone the other day. He had promised me that it would ship that day and it actually did. He did have much better answers for all their problems. For example, my tracking # was premature because while they did get a shipment of the alarm I ordered like they said, I am basically on a list and they didn't get enough to fill my order. It would have been nice to know that in an email when I asked all these questions."
